Size and Fit

Pros:

  • "This is bigger than we thought. My son who is now 2 years and 3 months old and is 95th percentile in term of height easily fits on this changing pad."
  • "It’s great, it’s portable, it fits standard covers."
  • "As for the size, it's a perfect fit for standard size changing stations."
  • "It looks like baby has plenty of room to grow with it also."
  • "It is quite long, and will accommodate my baby for quite some time."
  • "It's perfect average size so most covers fit it just right."
  • "This fits our Graco Freeport changing table perfectly."

Cons:

  • "Have one changing table that this fits on great an another that required I cut it down."
  • "It says that it’s a standard size but if you have a changing table that is connected to your crib I don’t recommend getting this pad because it’ll be a good two or three inches too long."
  • "This pad turned out to be too long and I decided to shorten it myself."
  • "We do not have a standard size changing table, and this one was too long."
  • "Make sure measure your changing table before purchasing. I didn’t and after I received it I found out that the pad was too big for my changing table."
  • "This is a bit too big for my changing table, but I make it work."
  • "It’s a little too big for our changing table that is attached to our crib but I just bent the top up to make it fit."

Cleaning and Maintenance

Pros:

  • "The plastic is easy to clean."
  • "It's super easy to clean and the surface is soft enough she likes just laying on it even after I'm done changing her."
  • "Also plastic material which makes for easy wipe down."
  • "Easy to clean - we rarely let anything get to the actual mat between an absorbent pad and a cover, but it does wipe clean & dries quickly."
  • "The material used for it is easily cleaned, which is great."
  • "It’s a pretty standard changing pad, easy enough to clean."
  • "Easily cleaned when soiled."

Cons:

  • "Wow! This changing bad is not only 100% NOT WATERPROOF!....But the “water” aka poop and pee then seeps down into the little holes and down into the foam making clean up 100% impossible!"
  • "This does not wipe down easily."
  • "When it does get dirty, it can be a little difficult to clean out the little cracks and grooves in it, and has occasionally been necessary to take it into the bathtub to scrub it down."
  • "The little grooves can be annoying to clean, but my boys have always been comfortable on the pad and the curve prevents them from hitting the wood edge."
  • "It is covered with tiny holes that are difficult to clean when wet diapers, etc leak."
  • "Poop and stuff gets stuck in the plastic seam and is really hard to clean out."
  • "The quilted pattern makes a blowout kind of hard to clean up. Poop gets stuck in the little holes and you have to really scrub to get it clean."

Comfort and Safety

Pros:

  • "This changing pad is comfortable!"
  • "It's comfy for babies, easy to clean, and holds them just right while you change their diaper."
  • "The baby likes just hanging out on his back on the changing pad, it seems very comfortable for him."
  • "It's soft but not too stiff, while having safe and firm raised edges to keep our very wiggly girl from rolling off."
  • "The sides come up just enough that even my wiggly four month old feels secure on it."
  • "It’s firm yet soft enough to keep my baby safe yet comfortable."
  • "He is all smiles during diaper changes and it’s clear he feels comfortable & secure."

Cons:

  • "Once our little guy started moving around more though, we realized we were going to need more padding and something that wouldn't scrunch up when he wiggles around."
  • "The bottom (where baby lays) doesn't feel that thick and padded."
  • "I wish the bottom of this changing pad was skid resistant."
  • "The strap doesn't not keep the pad from sliding around on a slick surface though."
  • "The rubber on the bottom does not stop the pad from sliding."
  • "Hate that I will need to buy a new one once baby gets wiggly since it slips on the dresser very easily."
  • "It does NOT come with a 'security strap' (Per manufacturer description: 'security strap keeps the pad attached to the furniture')."

Durability and Quality

Pros:

  • "It's holding up well so far, structure wise."
  • "This one, although the padding has worn down is still durable! No holes no rips."

  • "been almost 2 years and i still have this, we use it everyday and besides one random stain, which no matter what i use to clean it sensate not go away, its still hold up and has cushion!"

Cons:

  • "The hard part on the bottom is a regular brown cardboard, so first it can absorb moisture and second you can easily damage it."
  • "The waterproof material had begun to rip all over."
  • "We have had this product for almost 6 months and it has already ripped and has dirty diaper stains on it."
  • "My pad is torn in many places after 1.5 year of use because those little holes created tears - just like say perforated paper would behave."
  • "We are currently at 9 months of use and it is starting to crack."
  • "This arrived folded so now there is a weird curl/ fold mark 1/3 of the way down the mat."
