  • "It smells fantastic and reminded me of my childhood."
  • "It's got a light and refreshing scent and is very nice. Not overpowering at all."
  • "The tea tree oil scent is definitely not overpowering and very nice IMO."

Cons:

  • "But the smell. I’ve dealt with tea tree oil before and I dont Find it the most pleasant smell."
  • "Honestly it smelled like Lighter Fluid."
  • "The hair was smooth but the scent wasn’t that good and it caused a lot hairfall!"
  • "The one drawback is the smell. IT is really strong (and not a particularly pleasant smell)."
  • "The scent of tree oil is WAY too much."
  • "The scent burned my eyes, left my face sticky."
  • "The scent of this product is TERRIBLE! It smells very strongly of Pinesol, or toilet bowl cleaner."

Texture and Application

Pros:

  • "Just out of the shower, this makes for excellent moisturizer; though you may want to mix one part lotion with three parts aloe."
  • "Pump bottle makes it super convenient to dispense."
  • "I like that it is not greasy after application and it absorbs quickly."
  • "This is really great quality Aloe Lotion. It goes on smoothly and is not heavy or greasy like some other lotions."
  • "No slickly residue after it dries, I like that it has antibacterial properties from the Tea Tree Oil which should help my facial skin stay clear."
  • "It's a thinner formulation which I like because it's actually pumpable."
  • "Hydrates skin all over, instantly, without leaving a greasy feel."

Cons:

  • "The only REAL issue I find is that no matter how thin of a layer I apply to an area, it won't fully be absorbed into my skin."
  • "When using this product leaves a film on your skin that prompts you to immediately wash your hands to get this sticky and uncomfortable mess off your hands."
  • "The main and most important problem is that it’s horribly sticky on your skin even after it dries."
  • "Bought this as hopefully a kind of leave in conditions or hair moisturizer. Absolutely terrible in that role. Barely seems to moisturize skin. Weird, sticky texture."
  • "Just be careful about not lathering so much on or you’ll just be a sticky mess."
  • "This aloe Vera is very sticky...I just don’t feel like this is / has helped me."
  • "It do leave a little sticky residue feeling on your skin but nothing too bad."

Effectiveness

Pros:

  • "I use this product on my hair as my scalp often feels very dry. I applied it and within 10 minutes I could definitely feel the moisture and softness in my hair."
  • "I had a severe sunburn and this aloe was the best product I used."
  • "This definitely helped problem areas. I have dry skin in patches on my face and I had breakouts also. After the first time using I noticed a difference."

Cons:

  • "Didn't really add any moisture to my skin at all."
  • "I thought i was buying some sort of retinol serum [ as advertised ] but i couldnt find any mention of the ingredients mentioned in the product description on the product label, plus it came to me 4/5 full."
  • "I guess it does help moisturize my dry skin, but the scent is awful and strong."
  • "I used this to make the hair smooth...it caused a lot hairfall!"

  • "Not 100% aloe, also the tea tree oil is so potent and is irritating to the skin."
  • "Very little Aloe Vera effect. Expected this contain strong aloe vera benefits but I found it to be a basic ineffective product."
