Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "Great fit and very comfortable."
  • "Also will fit most size heads as you can adjust the sizes of it."
  • "These fit perfectly under my issued helmet and even my bump helmet."
  • "They fit well enough over my asian big head, so they are wide."
  • "First off, these fit me very well, I have a pretty large head so having these fit me is a real plus. Very compact when folded."
  • "These were also very comfortable. I even had glasses underneath and they still were comfortable and noise canceling."
  • "They fit comfortably over the ear and the volume functions to reduce or increase the noise is great."

Cons:

  • "I wish they were a little more comfortable but i have a hard time finding headset/headphones for my big head anyway."
  • "I wear glasses so after a couple of hours wearing they are a little uncomfortable."
  • "No matter how I adjusted them, there was either a gap above my head or my ears were being crushed/pulled down."
  • "Super tight too so not comfortable."
  • "Even at its smallest it doesn't fit my head as its too large!"
  • "The walkers headband, even on the lowest setting is too high for my head, and the inside of the cups touch the top of my ears."
  • "The are a bit smaller than expected, I mean they won't fit big heads and the size adjustment on them is minimal."

Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation

Pros:

  • "These things allow you to listen to a conversation from people across the room while also shooting a 12ga shotgun down range without having your ears ring."
  • "Noise cancelling keeps the sharp sound of gunfire down and was able to clearly hear the instructor and other participants."
  • "It’s able to pick up gun shots well and mute it."
  • "These cancel out the loud noises of gunshots, loud engines, etc. while allowing you to clearly hear a person speaking to you."
  • "This headset works very well! On the range is is amazing how well it cancels out the noise of the gunshots while allowing conversation."
  • "They work so good! They are also very comfortable when wearing them."
  • "Noise cancelling works great; even someone near me clapping was cut off, so I have very high confidence it would cut off gunshots and other loud noises."

Cons:

  • "Only issue is you cant tell what direction amplified sound is coming from."
  • "These ears hardly diminish the gunshot sound alone."
  • "They don't separate the bangs from normal frequency sounds so it will deaden all sound and makes it hard to talk to someone next to you while at a range."
  • "These barely muffled the sound even with volume all the way down."
  • "It does a great job increasing the volume of gunshots 75 yd away, but I can't hear the person next to me talking."
  • "The noise enhancements are very two dimensional. You can only hear left and right."
  • "The voice amplification is not great as it amplifies all the sounds and kind of nullifies the whole point."

Battery and Power

Pros:

  • "Batteries last a long time."
  • "Lastly, the battery life is astonishing. I've used them for multiple range trips without needing to change the batteries."
  • "Comes with 2 Duracell triple A batteries, are easy to install."
  • "Battery life is very impressive."
  • "The rechargeable feature is a great option to go for as there's no need to be worrying about you having a dead battery!!"
  • "They are easy on batteries."
  • "Comm’s come with the 3 triple A Duracell batteries required to power this unit."

Cons:

  • "The batteries were dead... the batteries lasting approximately 1 day, even when powered off."
  • "I had to keep them on the lowest setting, like 5-10% power, or else there was a terrible static."
  • "Let’s start with the bad. It’s me. I’m the bad. Because I keep forgetting to turn off the speaker and I kill a lot of batteries when I’m not even wearing them."
  • "The volume/power knob has gotten accidentally turned on and killed my batteries."
  • "The battery cover stuck. I fought for half an hour, and had no luck getting them off."
  • "Ordered these not too long ago and my kids got ahold of them (my fault). The battery cover was removed and lost."
  • "The pair I have are essentially brand new, barely removed from the box, and will now have batteries held into it by duct tape."

Build Quality and Design

Pros:

  • "Works great and built sturdy for a Great price!!"
  • "These are hands-down the best ear protection I’ve ever had, I didn’t even have to take them off when I was speaking with my gun safety instructor."
  • "They really amplify voices and even the leaves/gravel under your feet when they are turned up."
  • "These work exactly as advertised and appear to be very well built."
  • "These 'ear muffs' are well built and fit really good and snug."
  • "These muffs are as good as any electronic muffs on the market. They look good fit great and functioned as designed."
  • "These are made so well. The sound and quality sets it apart."

Cons:

  • "Item was labeled as used/like new... covered in a sticky residue, that's crappy of you Amazon!"
  • "The other now has the wires fraying where they enter the earmuffs due to poor design and low quality."
  • "NONE OF MY CORDS, charging or bricks worked."
  • "I received ZERO support from Amazon and the manufacturer."
  • "Not sure if I got a returned item or defective one but the cloth is ripped all to piss all the way around the head strap."
  • "Mine did not… It also seems it was already open as it was not secure in the box and the tape sealing the box was already cut."
  • "Sadly, they don't fit with my head in a large size ECH (helmet) as per issued by the United States Marine Corps."

Value and Price

Pros:

  • "If you are thinking about getting these just do it you won’t regret it I promise."
  • "The value is probably tough to match with such a low price point."
  • "Comm’s price in relation to quality is as good as the headset itself."
  • "Great buy and worth every penny."
  • "Bought mine on a todays deal through Amazon for 29.00!!!!! wow!"

Cons:

  • "I hear the gunshots louder on this than the $10 one I bought at the range maybe due to the fit."
  • "I feel the price point doesn’t reflect the quality we experienced."
  • "One broke in just over a year, and Walker's was unwilling to make it right."
  • "If we have to add foam ear plugs every time why even have these Walkers?"
  • "The base hearing protection leaves a lot to be desired when compared to others and significantly louder than the tried and true foam earplugs."
  • "After a few months loud static could be heard in one pair to the point it is too annoying to even power them on."
  • "Wanted to like these but will be finding another pair."
