Fit and Sizing

Pros:

  • "The ankles aren't secured fully against the leg allowing freely moving."
  • "Arctix offers Short option which is very nice."
  • "I normally wear L, bought XL and they fit perfectly."
  • "The high waist fits comfortably on me at 5’8” and 125 lbs the sz 8-10 is perfect."
  • "Really good quality for a great price. I love the color and I am 5’8 with long legs so the 33” inseam is a godsend."
  • "So in my search for new ski pants I found it hard to size them. I'm 4'11.5" and 145 lbs, I ordered the large with a 27-in inseam and they fit great."
  • "Tried them on and they're a perfect fit. I'm 4'11" so finding pants that aren't super long on me is a struggle but these were perfect in a short."
  • "I am 4'10" and weight about 120 pounds. I got a size small with the 30" inseam. These fit me perfectly!"

Cons:

  • "Button Claps move all over the place and are hard to fasten."
  • "I usually wear a large. I purchased a xl because some reviews indicate the snow pants ran small and are tight in the thighs. Even thought I got a xl they are too tight in the thighs."
  • "For my first order I went with what I would normally go for, XL, Arctix Women's Insulated Pants. They were fit fitting, no wiggle room and was 1.5-2 inches small at the waist."
  • "Strange fit on these pants. I ordered a size up figuring I'd give myself some extra room to layer underneath, but I was absolutely swimming in these."
  • "For reference I’m 5’6 and weigh 118 lbs.. I ordered a small-regular. They were tight and too short for my personal taste, so I’m sending them back and sizing up to a medium-tall."
  • "I'm a size US-22 and I got it in US-24 so I can wear leggings underneath, lo and behold, it is a little tight."
  • "US women's 16/18 purchased a 2x in the fuschia.Very poor quality stitching, several areas of gaps because of no stitching or velcro coming off because the corners weren't sewn at all."
  • "I read on another website how these are great for people with bigger butt and thighs with a smaller waist. This is definitely not the case."

Comfort and Warmth

Pros:

  • "To be comfortable, able to move freely without feeling weighted down with gear on to stay warm, and lots of pockets even cargo ones that hold a mini tablet almost in size or XXL cell phone safely; these pants are perfect for this outdoor weather."
  • "Needed snow pants for Work. These are Perfect for cold weather."
  • "The fit is really much better than I expected. As is the warmth factor. I bought another, in a prettier color."
  • "I’m 5’4”, 119 lbs and the small fit perfectly with a few layers underneath. Bought these for hunting and they hold up great in the rain/snow."
  • "Overall best pair I’ve own. Keeps warm inside the whole day and stays dry through snow and rain."
  • "These are probably the best pair of snow pants I have ever owned. They keep me warm. And when it’s raining I never feel it."
  • "I wore these to Iceland (20-30 degrees F, lots of 20+ mph wind days) and they worked out wonderfully. Very warm, fit well for an American 6-8 size, and I used a standard belt with them."
  • "I work outside in the snow and wind for over 1.5 hours, five days a week. These snowpants are PERFECT, and I only wear leggings under them."

Cons:

  • "Like you get what you pay for. They are good and I wore them snowboarding with legging under. I was warm but water did leak through."
  • "Got a small, and could hold the waistband out a good 6 inches away from my body, like a weightloss commercial."
  • "Good for walking around, against rain etc, but for that, you better buy those simple nylon covers."
  • "I really like the quality of these pants. They are lightweight and did really well in the rain."
  • "The pants get quite wet if it’s pouring down rain but the base layer I wear underneath is always dry."
  • "I just got these snow pants, so haven’t used them in the snow yet."
  • "Cheap Champion from Target is ok."
  • "Love love love!!! First new ski pants i've gotten in years, and two pair for less than a hundred dollars is a great buy! True American sizing!"
