Durability

Pros:

  • "This book is truly indestructible and as an added bonus is easy to clean."
  • "They def seem indestructible. Right after delivery, I tried to rip the front page in half and failed."
  • "100% indestructible. My 6 month old has crinkled this book like crazy but absolutely no tears!"
  • "Allows pages to be bent chewed and put into mouths without being ruined!"
  • "These are perfect for handsy infants and toddlers and truly stand up to wear and tear."
  • "I'm convinced! These are pretty indestructible!"
  • "I even threw them in the washing machine with all the other kids laundry and it did not rip or fade!!"

Cons:

  • "I washed as directed: water and mild soap. To my surprise the ink started coming off readily!"
  • "Even though my son can’t 'rip' through it, he is bending it and distorting it so much already and we just got it an hour ago."
  • "The colors run and bleed into each other."
  • "It says rip proof but that does not make it bend proof which will happen a lot with babies."
  • "Literally just 10 mins after my 7 month old was playing with this, the stitching in the binding was coming undone."
  • "This book, more like a pamphlet, may be chew proof and rip proof, but certainly not indestructible."
  • "Imagine all the warehouse dust/germs/etc. it picked up along the way. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it was actually easy to wash."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "This was a great buy."
  • "These books are great to keep in your diaper bag for anywhere you go."
  • "Highly recommend for anyone with babies or toddlers!!"
  • "I want the whole collection!"
  • "The price is great and the quality is the best."
  • "I came across these books one day and ever since I have loved them and always gift them away at any baby shower I go to."
  • "Can’t go wrong with a cute baby toy or book!"

Cons:

  • "This is not worth $1 dollar much less what I paid for it."
  • "I felt the books were overpriced for the product that showed up at my front door."
  • "This is not worth almost $6… it’s literally like one of those cheap little books you used to get in a chick-fil-a kids meal."
  • "It feels like a book that should come in a pack of 5 for $5, not 1 book for $5."
  • "I honestly would pay about $2 for this book because of the damage :("
  • "This book, more like a pamphlet, may be chew proof and rip proof, but certainly not indestructible and even worth the $6 I paid for it!"
  • "I would be embarrassed to give as a gift."

Visual Appeal

Pros:

  • "Vibrant colors and artwork."
  • "The illustrations are bright and bold, making them appealing to young children and helping to hold their attention."
  • "Another strength of this book is its engaging and colorful illustrations."
  • "The pictures are bright and colorful."
  • "These books are really bright and colorful."
  • "The illustrations are beautiful."
  • "Hello Farm has bright colors."

Cons:

  • "I was embarrassed to take this to a baby shower along with my other gifts because it is so thin and flimsy."
  • "Cute book but it's paper thin. Might be good quality paper but very thin."
  • "This looks like something you could print at home. Or an instruction booklet you would get with a toy."
  • "It's so thin and, even though the pages seem durable, it just looks so cheap."
  • "It’s looks and feels more like a cheap restaurant paper menu."
  • "Super thin. Seems like it was almost printed on computer paper (but obviously wasn’t)."
  • "I order the paperback and in came looking so cheap- like something you would be given an a Resturant for your child to draw on."

Educational Content

Pros:

  • "Some indestructibles come without words— we like both, but for language acquisition, I’d go with this!"
  • "So I find these educational and cute along with unrippable!"
  • "The book is also designed to be educational, with simple text that introduces children to various animals and objects they might encounter on a farm."
  • "What sets this book apart from others is that it is virtually indestructible, meaning it is made of a special material that can withstand chewing, tearing, and other forms of wear and tear that young children are known for."
  • "The text is also easy to read and understand, making it a great choice for parents who want to engage with their children and teach them new words and concepts."
  • "It gives the proper name of each baby animal."
  • "Hello farm is great for not only reading but learning different animals and you can also teach them the animal sounds!"

Cons:

  • "The actual content of the book is lacking and my 2yo is not interested in it as such."
  • "There is also no real story line to the books. I wish there was more of a story to them."
  • "This one is pretty lame in terms of content but my 1 year old cant read yet anyway."
  • "There is NOTHING to the story line in either book I purchased and even for a toddler you can make it a little more fun/cute."
  • "But there's no story and only a few pages. So my son doesn't like it anyway."
  • "This book was so thin & didn't even have a story. Each page was 'hello cow' 'hello chicken' and so on."
  • "Book should include animal sound on page. e.g. 'moo' Babies learn to imitate animal sounds."
