Leakage Protection

Pros:

  • "They are very secure on my baby and she doesn't complain about them."
  • "This is all I will use now and VERY rarely do we have leakage, when we do it’s usually from an overfilled diaper after cluster feeding."
  • "Usually, One diaper gets him from about 6:30pm-6am."
  • "We almost never have any issues with leaks or defects."
  • "The pocket in the back really does its job to catch stool."
  • "Messy diapers that leak are hard to handle and moms all know that sometimes happens but with these Huggie diapers of the 'Little Snugglers' brand, the leaks are very few and far between."
  • "They absorb everything, no leakage, and no diaper rash either."
  • "Our favourite diapers so far. Super absorbent and has an interior lining that conforms to your baby’s curves that prevents leakage."

Cons:

  • "My infant leaked through overnight and wet his whole inside and the bed."
  • "My baby wears these for about an hour and a half, barely any pee done and they start ripping open from the sides that go in between the legs."
  • "There isn't much to say about these. It's rare that they leak but when they do, we know it's because it's been a really big one."
  • "We've used huggies snugglers since bringing our baby home from the hospital and haven't had any issues with them until recently. There's something about them, perhaps the wetness indicator, that makes them smell like chemicals when wet."
  • "I really wanted to make these work, but it leaks most of the time up to the point of me cleaning a big mess in my baby’s car seat where she just pooped and it immediately leaked out of the diaper!"
  • "These diapers have leaked out of the side 4 times in less than 12 hours (after 3 months of diaper changing I can assure this in not user error) The wings are very minimal leaving a gap around the entire leg and hip for leakage."
  • "There have been a few leaks with the Huggies, but out of 120, there's probably only been 4 leaks."
  • "We haven’t used these in years because the difference in age between our kids is 5 years. These seem to work well on our boy but I wouldn’t say any diaper is 100% leak proof because all babies are different."

Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "These are good and have an extra layer to protect from leaks and they absorb a lot and doesn’t make it seem like the diapers about to bust open."
  • "Especially helpful for blowouts. Has the back scrunch and pocket to protect from leaks. Always look for the back scrunch on a diaper!"
  • "They’re super soft on the inside and out. I believe more comfortable on the waist line for my little."
  • "These diapers are the only ones for me right now! My daughter has been just fine for weeks without blowouts and no allergic reactions."
  • "They feel high end and look high end. My son loves them. They’re like pampers but not as expensive. We buy these every month and will stick with them. They’re great. No leakage. No rashes. Nothing !!!"
  • "Nothing compared. Pampers leaked, and didn’t fit my LO very good. I also tried Luvs and they just seemed low quality and honestly worse that Pampers."
  • "I can only speak to a boy in these. They are soft and not irritating in the crotch area."
  • "They hold in what would be a blow out in another diaper, very absorbent! they fit really well and don’t cause any skin issues and are soft on babies skin!"

Cons:

  • "Size 2 and up have weird, scratchy, purple tabs that break out baby’s skin and the sides aren’t even."
  • "It’s missing the top ~1/2in. The band of fastened straight can touch the skin and rub, there’s no buffer of material. Is the product still functional? Yeah."
  • "They do not fit well and the fabric falls apart, gets stringy. When I pull the Velcro to take off the diaper, I have to pull fuzzy strings from the diaper off my sons legs."
  • "I started out using pampers mainly because that’s what everyone bought me for my baby shower. However, I used Huggies in the hospital. I new immediately that I loved Huggies for my newborn. Nothing compared."
  • "These didn't cause any rash on my babies, so I'm glad we didn't need to get more expensive, fancy a$$ diapers."
  • "The last two times I've ordered them I have pressed the add a box around the original packaging, neither came in a different box."
  • "The tabs are pointless, do not stay closed well and the last two nights I have woken up to her wet because the legs are way too loose and it is leaking right out the side."
  • "I wish I had had these diapers when my daughter was younger, that girl had a 'blow out' up her back once a day. I would be curious to see if the poop pocket in the back waistband of these diapers would have made a difference or not."

Quality and Material

Pros:

  • "The inside isn’t as soft as smaller sizes either."
  • "The Huggies Plus from Costco are a lot better."
  • "The pee indicator strip is accurate and easy to see."
  • "The leg opening elastic keeps the poop from sneaking out."
  • "They’re like pampers but not as expensive."
  • "They have cute little pictures on them too!"
  • "The outside layer is covered with Winnie the Pooh characters is very soft colors."
  • "The diaper has directions on the outside of the diaper like 'front' 'back' and a band in the front with a drawing of where the tabs need to be placed to keep the front and back together so there shouldn't be any confusion as to how the diaper should go on the baby."

Cons:

  • "The Huggies Little Snugglers Baby Diapers that I received are size 3 which is made for infants/toddlers in the 16-28 pound range."
  • "The sides fasten tightly and the wetness indicator works well. These feel like they run the slightest bit small, but we've had no leaks and size 3 baby still fits in them."
  • "They are soft like fabric, have a pocketed waist to catch blow outs, and when peed in they don't smell like pee or feel damp on the outside (like Pampers Swaddlers)."
  • "The only downside is the size 3 and up ones also have the purple grippy strips on the front which make it challenging to strap the diaper or adjust the straps, or even get the diaper ready to put on a squirmy baby, because they stick to everything and don't want to let go!"
  • "Unfortunately we have not found the perfect diaper. This is the best I've tried though, better blowout protection than any diaper we've tried but unfortunately it still happens. From what I've seen a perfect diaper does not exist."
  • "At night we double diaper our girl whch so far has stopped the overnight blowouts which are by far the worst because nobody wants to clean up a mess at 2am when you're in full zombie mode."
  • "We're long time users of Huggies (and various other diapers) including the older and newer version of the Little Movers and this newer version of the Little Snugglers. In a comparison of how the Huggies are improved, I see a few key features."
  • "The absorbent portion is a bit thicker and is the entire space instead of having a thicker strip in the center toward the front. The tabs seem to be more firmly attached to the diaper on the back to prevent them pulling off while you're wrangling to get the diaper around a squirmy little one."
