Charging and Battery Life

Pros:

  • "These are amazing. They last a long time."
  • "Battery life is amazing."
  • "They last for about 3 weeks before I need to charge the main case."
  • "Quick charging - You can get enough charge in 10-15 minutes to work out for a good 2 hours."
  • "Battery lasts a long time, very water RESISTANT and damage resistant."
  • "The sound of the Powerbeats is great for wireless earbuds and the battery life of both charging case and earbuds are great out of the box!"
  • "Battery life is exceptional."

Cons:

  • "The problem with them is the connections to charge in the case barely work."
  • "They don't hold a charge and the charging points on the headphones and in the 'self-charging' case start to form calcium deposits which affect the charge."
  • "The charging case appears to lose its charge quite quickly even when they are not used."
  • "They will sit for 2 or 3 days in the charger charging only to tell me they are still at 2%."
  • "The case no longer holds a charge, cannot turn on to pair with a phone."
  • "The right one won't charge and/or dies about 30 minutes into my run."
  • "These headphones are good IF you can get the charging case to stay 100% functional."

Sound Quality and Fit

Pros:

  • "The sound is amazing."
  • "The sound quality is great too."
  • "Sound quality is great! Love them for working out when they work."
  • "They sound wonderful and fit my ears perfectly."
  • "Came with additional earpiece inserts to fit a wide range of ear shapes… sound is so crisp."
  • "The sound is excellent (for an earbud) but only if it's connected to an Apple product."
  • "The audio quality of this blows everything away even though this has been around since 2019!"

Cons:

  • "They'll sound tinny and unbalanced to one side which means I have to go to my phone, disconnect them, Forget This Device, put them in the case and reset, then reconnect them to the phone."
  • "The hook hurts, and the speaker doesn't sit in my ear but on top of it."
  • "Even with the selection of different ear bud rubber covers, I still found them slipping out of my ears slightly when I started to sweat."
  • "The right ear bud stopped holding a charge just 6 weeks after I purchased them."
  • "These ear buds are horrible. They don’t fit well, the sound is tinny with too much treble and barely any base unless I hold my hands over them to enclose the sound."
  • "Sound quality doesn't seem as good as the older Bose headphones I'd been using for years."
  • "No matter which rubber eartip I use, the buds do not seat well and so the sound is tinny."

Design and Usability

Pros:

  • "I love the app. Its simple to use and it has a find my earbuds feature."
  • "I use these headphones everyday. I even ran them through the washer and dryer and they still worked."
  • "I absolutely love that I can tighten the ear loops to fit my ear n I know they won't fall off!"
  • "Owned by Apple and seamlessly sync with iPhones and fit securely with an over the ear clip. You could jump upside down they would not move."
  • "Out of all the ear buds I have tried, these stay in place better than any others. You can workout with these, or run, etc. knowing they will stay perfectly in place until you remove them."
  • "The design is great and they stay on your ears."
  • "The sound is great, they automatically connect to my phone, the controls are easy and the microphone is perfect."

Cons:

  • "Some folks said that the carrying case was bulky and I thought they were joking or being dramatic. They're not."
  • "Song scrolling is kind of annoying and I usually end up just stopping the music instead of switching the song."
  • "Whoever designed the charger for these earphones gets a big F. It’s hard to tell if they’re actually charging."
  • "The 'find my beats' is pointless as you have to 'connect' your beats each time you want to use that feature."
  • "They frequently and randomly pause music and podcast playback for no reason at all."
  • "Case is big and bulky but you know that from the pictures. What you don't realize is that the charge design is horrible."
  • "The only beefs I have are as follows. 1 I cant stand the recharging box."
