Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "These straps are very comfortable. They’re easy to use."
  • "Super cute bright pink color. Sturdy material. Padding helpful on wrist."
  • "Very comfortable on my wrist and no cutting as I've experienced with other brands."
  • "They are soft and very strong and provides great grips on bars and dumbbells."
  • "The gym straps are super comfortable and not like other gym straps that are stiff and need to break in."
  • "These straps are super comfortable and allowed me to hit PRs left and right!"
  • "These bands are amazing. They feel soft on my wrists and hands."

Cons:

  • "The only bad thing is one strap is longer then the other and creates an uneven feeling while using heavier weights."
  • "I noticed slight red marks around my wrists where the straps had been digging into my skin."
  • "The only downside of them, which is just my OCD, is that I can't have the logo facing the same way on both of them lol"
  • "Work great, don’t sit very well on wrist but definitely not painful and help carry heavier weight, just wish padding portion was longer."
  • "The edge of the padding will dig into you a good bit."
  • "Could probably use some extra padding because they leave red marks on my wrists."
  • "I almost always ended up with little to no padding on the inside thumb part of my wrist where I actually wanted it."

Durability and Material Quality

Pros:

  • "They’re holding up great after around a year."
  • "I've had these for almost 4 months now and they are holding up pretty well."
  • "Love these straps. They are very well made and very durable and priced very well, very inexpensive."
  • "These straps are made from a ridiculously durable canvas that doesn’t stretch."
  • "Almost two years later I've used these straps almost every day in the gym, going 4-5x a week and they've held up amazingly."
  • "Great comfort and very durable !"
  • "These straps are well made and the material is soft unlike some other brands."

Cons:

  • "Where the first set of straps I purchased hung on, the second pair have not faired so well."
  • "They seem to hold up ok at 405, but when I used them for 585 or more they pretty much instantly tear apart."
  • "I received these November 12th. Already a rip started to appear by November 23rd."
  • "Unfortunately, they ripped after not even 4 weeks."
  • "I’ve used these straps less than 10x lifting between 225-275 lb, and they’re already tearing."
  • "Would not recommend these... Ripped after 12 reps of deadlift at 425lbs."
  • "But, they didnt even last a year before they ripped."

Design and Aesthetics

Pros:

  • "Very aesthetically pleasing as well."
  • "The Gym Reaper brand makes quality lifting support gear and the choice of colors are nice as well."
  • "Cool skull logo and the addition of colors make these stand out in the gym a lot more than the boring black ones all your buddies use."
  • "They come in lots of colors! What's not to love!"
  • "Love the pink color. Hoping they last a while."
  • "The color is as I expected great fit and comfort."
  • "I like the color."

Cons:

  • "The logos do not face the same direction when you wear the straps correctly in each hand."
  • "What athlete wants an upside-down logo on one hand????"
  • "The logo not facing correctly is a minor annoyance."
  • "Both wraps are meant only for your left hand. Both wraps aren't supposed to look identical and should go in opposite angles."
  • "These are really bad because I have to tie them around and awkwardly hold the machine rather than attaching them to the machine via velcro."
  • "So if I want to make them work, I have to wear the left wrist wrap upside down."
  • "I would give it zero stars! These are nothing like what it shows in the pictures what so ever!"

Functionality and Performance

Pros:

  • "Nice pair of lifting straps, easy to throw on. adjust, and pull with."
  • "These ones you can actually get them to be as tight as you want which is what I love about it."
  • "So as I am getting stronger I started to notice my grip was wearing out first when I felt I had at least several more reps in me... This lifting strap is a game changer, seriously."
  • "My grip and forearms usually get toasted before my back does on back/bi day at the gym so I just throw these on and now I can finally go to failure with my back!!"
  • "Use these for all of my back workouts and have never been more sore. Highly recommend any beginner to expert weightlifter to use these."
  • "These straps are awesome for back day and other leg day movements. I wish they were a little bit longer but the length is still great."
  • "I can pull more weight than I thought with these!"
