Support and Comfort

Pros:

  • "They provide awesome support, elevating pains in my knee that I used to get when using the factory insoles of my Altras."
  • "I use these in all of my shoes (work boots, runners, and dress). Firm arch support but not fully solid, so it has just enough give to stay comfortable."
  • "We tell patients usually to get powerstep inserts but I think the Currexx inserts work better and people love them."
  • "Have used these for years in walking boots, work shoes and ultra running trainers."
  • "The arch support has some flexibility to it while still providing support."
  • "I love the way they cup my heel keeping it snug."
  • "These are durable and comfortable and take care of real problems I was having with instep pain."

Cons:

  • "There is very little support and cushioning in this product."
  • "They are comfortable but only lasted me 6 mo before the heels in both them got holes."
  • "Fairly stiff and this did not give me the cushioning I hoped for."
  • "However, they now don’t seem to have much cushion. I will be looking for an alternative."
  • "The support they provide seems to wear out after a month or so."
  • "I'm not finding these very supportive at all. Especially nor for the price."
  • "These are expensive but did little to change the issues I was having with my feet."

Fit and Sizing

Pros:

  • "If you plan to get these to cut down to your shoe, make sure you get a size up."
  • "Purchase a size bigger if you are not sure!"
  • "I bought the small that are supposed to fit in women's sneakers up to size 7."
  • "Theses insoles were wonderful right out of the box. No cutting required for me and they fit in all of my shoes."
  • "I wear men’s size 8.5 2E shoes, and the Currex size medium (men’s 7 - 8.5) fit well both in terms of length and width."
  • "This is the second pair I’ve purchased. I’m typically a woman man’s 9-10. These fit great."
  • "They are easy to trim to fit."

Cons:

  • "I tried putting them in my wide 7.5 +Mizuno's and they wouldn't fit- too big."
  • "The arch support felt like it was too far back towards my heel and not in my actual arch."
  • "Opened the Amazon Box and the insoles were inside without any packaging. Used maybe? Not sure, but definitely doesn’t work for me."
  • "Under the Currex Medium insole is the Insole out of my Altra Escalante 2.5 Size M 8.5."
  • "Be aware the sizing chart on this website for medium profile doesn’t match the sizing chart in the actual insole box."
  • "Unfortunately, the harder white center section aligns under my left foot in a way that is incredibly painful."
  • "They're very noisy. I have these in 2 different pairs of shoes. The inserts make noise when they rub against the inside bottom of the shoe."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Yes they are expensive but your feet bear all your weight."
  • "Being sure that my feet will be in good shape is worth the ridiculously high price."
  • "I usually have custom orthotics from my podiatrist office for walking... They are a great product for the money."

  • "Well worth the money."
  • "Put your money in these insoles--they are worth it."
  • "They are expensive but if you are a runner or on your feet all day, they are very much worth every penny."

  • "Not worth the money, way overpriced."
  • "I will probably buy something more economical next time."
  • "Try them if you want but for me it was a waste."
