  • "They are very easy to use. Just cut off a piece and wrap around whatever you want to hold up and secure it to itself."
  • "You just cut the length you need and wrap them around your plant and stake and that’s it. No knots, no fuss, quick and easy! 10/10"
  • "This is so much better and easier to use and is soft and doesn't harm plants as well as being easily repositioned if needed."
  • "This garden tie is so easy to use. Just cut and wrap. It holds my tall Dahlia plants straight and strong in the worst stormy weather."

Cons:

  • "While the Velcro is not terribly secure, it is more than enough to stay secure during multiple storms since I purchased."
  • "I couldn’t work with it because it would just stick to itself."
  • "I find them not as sticky where the 2 ends velcro together if that makes sense. Idk, I don't like using them, I find them a bother to use."
  • "The velcro is a lot less nimble than regular plant tape and, as a result, is a lot harder to get tight especially while reaching in between leaves."
  • "It does not stay as good since the velcro is not well made. Grip problem.I will not buy this again."
  • "This product wasn't as easy to use as I expected. Did not work as described. Not enough velcro to stick together. No grip. Very disappointed."
  • "Instructions could be more helpful. When you are using this product to tye up a plant to stake, it is not easy."

Durability and Strength

Pros:

  • "They are pretty indestructible although it is possible to saturate them so thoroughly with mud etc that the sticky side isn't quite up to snuff."
  • "This vercro wrap is fantastic. What a great product."
  • "This Velcro has a soft side that won’t harm your plants."
  • "105 tomato plants, 88 pepper plants - quickly, efficiently, gently and securely managed by this product."
  • "Easy to adjust, cut it to exact desired length, survives through direct sunlight, heavy rain, snow, etc."
  • "Works great, exactly as advertised. Strong strap and good grip strength."
  • "I've been amazed to see how durable these ties are when sprinklers are running gone them and wind is blowing."

Cons:

  • "I tried it. I didn't love it. Seems too weak to hold up."
  • "VERY weak velcro bond... not like all other velcro I've used in the past. BARELY sticks to itself... very disappointed."
  • "I can't recommend this Velcro strip roll at all. There is barely any grip, even when wound upon itself multiple times."
  • "I didn't put them tight or to loose. I followed exactly what it says to do. I’ve lost half my plants because of this crappy product."
  • "This velcro has fibers that get hooked together. The problem seems that is there isn't enough fibers to hold."
  • "It is the weakest 'hook & loop' product I have ever seen."
  • "just wouldn't hold onto itself unless wrapped around several times and even then a good amount of tension would've pulled it off."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "It’s a great product at a low price."
  • "Good value for the money, but I wish that they would make longer rolls, even I I had to pay a few more dollars."
  • "For around $7 this will last hundreds of plant propagations so I call this a good value."
  • "It's definitely a great value and worth every penny."
  • "This 75’ roll is a Bargain. Perfect for attaching young plants to poles, and vines to trellis."
  • "Love this product…well worth the money, especially if you’re handy and fix small annoying problems yourself!"
  • "I buy this about every other year…it’s a lot of Velcro but I use it in my very small garden and all around the apartment for many uses!"

Cons:

  • "I would have rated it higher except for the cost."
  • "The velcro band is great when your tomato plants are small and it doesn't take much to secure them to the stake. But, it would cost a fortune to continue using once they are very large plants."
  • "I was going to return this, but I missed the window. It barely sticks to itself."
  • "What a waste of money."
  • "I was expecting to be able to reuse these but the quality is not as good as I imagined."
  • "I've used plant velcro before and been very happy with it so I thought I was just getting more of the same. This is NOT that."
  • "I was very disappointed when the packaging for the product arrived with a different picture of it in a messy shape."

Application Versatility

Pros:

  • "Useful for bundling all sorts of things."
  • "They are not only handy in the garden, but handy for securing many things like cords hoses and ropes."
  • "One of the great uses is wire maintenance, appliance cord management and as many applications as possible to imagine."

  • "This is a terrific product that has many uses in addition to holding up tomatoes."
  • "I've used them for all sorts of other needs too, beginning with corralling electronic and electric cords."
  • "Has many other uses, such as extension cords."

Cons:

  • "I don't seem to find a use for it around my garden but I have it everywhere in my house."
  • "This is a subpar product and I definitely expected more since it is Velcro brand. There’s no way this stuff could trellis up a Monstera."
  • "Not so versatile for other uses other than gardening."
  • "I used this Velcro garden tape throughout the summer. I didn't find it to be very versatile and I often struggled to find a good applications for it."
  • "It is also very visible, as the color is a light, bright green. Under leaves, it blends in well. But on the stem area of a plant, it stands out like a sore thumb."
  • "I found it a little awkward to use at first but I think that's because my tomatoes grew faster than I expected and I didn't have this quite early enough."
  • "The velcro is a lot less nimble than regular plant tape and, as a result, is a lot harder to get tight especially while reaching in between leaves."
