Absorbency

Pros:

  • "Best burb cloths hands down... they are super absorbent!"
  • "Best burp clothes. Double lined so they are very absorbing without leaking through onto your clothes while burping babe."
  • "Very absorbant and thick. They feel like quality."
  • "Cute designs, very thick material and absorbs a lot."
  • "They are large, soft, and very absorbent. Highly recommend!"
  • "They are super absorbent to the point where if there is spit up, it gets absorbed in seconds and you can hardly tell there was any!"
  • "Large and absorbant. Perfect for new born spit ups."

Cons:

  • "These are quite possibly the worst burp cloths I have ever purchased. They DO NOT wash well - they shrink, they were made on the bias of the cloth, so that they are awkward to fold or smooth out."
  • "Doesn't absorb very well."
  • "Doesn't absorb very well. Bunches when washed."
  • "They do mold really bad if you don’t wash them basically same day and make sure they are dry."
  • "They stain easy and the white became really dull after just one wash."
  • "These can dab a little milk dribble, but due to the thick weave, they aren’t great for catching or cleaning up spit ups."
  • "The burp cloths feel sticky the cotton is nice but the prints on them are sticky not very good."

Quality and Durability

Pros:

  • "These are similar to copper pearl in size and pattern choices, but so much better!"
  • "Super soft, nice and thick, and adorable prints! These are some of my favorite burp cloths for my twins. They’ve held up well to lots of washes as well."
  • "This is my favorite item that I got from my baby shower. These clothes are thick and soft and unlike my other burp clothes, it doesn't bunch up after being washed/dried."
  • "They are high quality and are really holding up well."
  • "These are so much more affordable and way better quality! 1000% would buy for every baby and baby shower."
  • "Beautiful color and quality."
  • "They have stayed soft and held up well to spit up messes and many washes."

Cons:

  • "I would never have bought these if I had noticed these can't be put in the dryer."
  • "I would give a five star rating, but they did shrink in the dryer."
  • "Knocked a star because I feel like they shrunk after I washed them but they still stayed a good size."
  • "After washing and drying I have to stretch out the fabric in order to get the shape back."
  • "They're a bit stiffer than I expected, and I don't find them to be very absorbent."
  • "The prettiest one seemed to be a different, scratchy material."
  • "However the more pigmented and big designs on these are tacky feeling which I don't love."

Design and Aesthetics

Pros:

  • "I wish there was more prints so I could buy more!"
  • "Love these! The thickness is perfect and helps make them stay on your shoulder. They’re super absorbent. Love the patterns too."
  • "The patterns are so cute."
  • "The other nice thing is that the pattern doesn't come out when bleaching them."
  • "They also fold nicely into thirds."
  • "We ended up really enjoying the black and white set because it doubles as fun contrast for our baby to look at."
  • "The colors and prints are so cute."

Cons:

  • "They do get a tiny bit wrinkled with a wash, but that’s because there are multiple layers. Doesn’t bother me a bit."
  • "You can feel the ink raised above the fabric, which is a bit of a disappointment."
  • "Burp cloths have to be washed frequently for obvious reasons.... the prints on these faded after 1-2 washes."
  • "If you read the fine print, you'll see that these '100% Organic Cotton' cloths actually have a polyester fill."
  • "Only complaint is they seem to separate and causes them to be super wrinkly."
  • "The designs on the cloths are vibrantly colored and have held up well through washings (wash with vinegar on first wash to set the color)."
  • "Nothing to complain about except that I thought they would be a little thicker than they are."

Practicality and Use

Pros:

  • "Now that the baby is 19 months old they are used as quilts/covers in her doll cradle!!"
  • "These on the other hand absorb! Perfect for baby with a reflux and I have yet to have a problem with stains!"
  • "Same as the copper pearl brand but these are cheaper."
  • "These cloths are much larger than others and they are thick to slow soak through."
  • "Definitely recommended."
  • "They’re soft on my babies face, super absorbent and nice thickness."
  • "They are big, thick, super soft and absorbent."

Cons:

  • "The thing I must have missed is that they're NOT dryer friendly."
  • "Very well made, soft enough to be a woobie (carried around like a blanket by older sibling) and sturdy enough to stay put on the shoulder. I did have to laugh at the care instructions: dry laying flat and iron to remove wrinkles. Not many new moms are ironing burb cloths."
  • "These are very nice quality except they are not easy to launder."
  • "They are not reversible-but that’s a bonus to me- I can always remember which side to have against my shoulder."
  • "Wouldn’t recommend for this use."
  • "Nothing gets through to my shoulder when I’m burping with these."
  • "They are very soft and washed very well."
