  • "Very simple to make all of them and not time consuming."
  • "The recipes are not complicated at all.. quick, easy, simple.. Buy the book!"
  • "These recipes are so easy and don’t require super obscure ingredients."

Cons:

  • "If there was anything I could have changed for this cookbook, it would be to have the macros listed on the recipe pages instead of to the back of the book to save time flipping to and from when making my meal plan."
  • "I hate reading through a recipe I'd like to try only to find out a key ingredient in that recipe is something you have to look up elsewhere in the book and make that recipe first."
  • "It all sounds good, but I am in a rural area with very basic grocery stores and seasonal farmer's markets, none of which have ever heard of things like jackfruit or hemp seeds or raw cashews."
  • "I only have to 4 stars because a few of the ingredients are a little tricky to find, but easily replaceable."
  • "Not having to have a gazillion amount of items and tasty. My only con- not into cauliflower or peanuts (because of the mold content) and I don't do well with hemp so need another substitute for those items."
  • "However, if you've ever used a different vegan cookbook, or if you've been vegan/plant-based for at least six months, I'd just skip this one. There's nothing particularly innovative and it shows the same recipes you've probably seen a million times before."
  • "But that's just me. That aside, by the time I was done crossing off the recipes in this book that I couldn't get ingredients for, then crossed out the ones I couldn't make when my very nut-allergic best friend comes over because they were full of nuts with no ideas for substitutions, then crossed out the ones that just didn't appeal or were too expensive, or took too long to make, I was left with maybe a dozen out of the 140+ and they were all similar to things we already cook."
