Fragrance

Pros:

  • "They have a fresh clean scent to mask odors."
  • "They're very lightly scented, nothing overwhelming, and that's a plus in my book."
  • "I see people complaining about them having a scent- I prefer the scent. It makes me feel fresh and clean."

Cons:

  • "These have fragrance. Could smell it even before opening the box they came in."
  • "The packs I purchased in March 2022 are HIGHLY SCENTED AND CAUSED IRRITATION."
  • "These are probably awesome, but they are so heavily scented (despite being listed as unscented) that I could never use them."
  • "Now, all of the sudden, the pads are heavily scented. I cannot use them and, because of Amazon's policies, I can't get a refund either."
  • "I've used these for awhile, but now with this last order the liners had a strong perfume scent."
  • "These are scented with a LOT of perfume and it gives me an instant headache."
  • "They don’t make it clear that this product is ridiculously smelly so that every time you go to the bathroom it’s like breathing a dryer sheet."

Size and Fit

Pros:

  • "They are the right size for me and work."
  • "I like the design, fit, length, comfort."
  • "These perfectly fit the bill."

Cons:

  • "They very much ARE scented, they smell through the individual wrappers and I am unable to use them. I also noticed they are too wide to fit into my regular panties comfortably, hanging over the sides."
  • "They’re liners, not pads. Better for a light period, not for someone who just gave birth and definitely not that long of a liner."
  • "I've had these on auto-ship for years. My last shipment, however was disappointing as the liners I received were about 25-30% more narrow than the ones I've been using."
  • "These are supposed to be a 'Long', but they are NOT very long!!!"
  • "For some reason, the Always company decided they needed to make these smaller."
  • "They are advertised as long length. The ones that were shipped to me are very SHORT length."
  • "They are way smaller in length and width than the same product purchased at Walmart."

Adhesion

Pros:

  • "The adhesive sticks a little TOO much."
  • "They stick really well and are a good, long length."

Cons:

  • "Halfway through the day the back part of the pad is rolling and sticking to the inside of my leg."
  • "I tried the medium length version of these and had a lot of issues with them rolling up from the sides and too easily coming unstuck from my panty."
  • "This liner does not have good adhesion and kept moving around and getting bunched up, the absorbency is not that good."
  • "The absorbency is decent but they do not stick and stay in place."
  • "Also they don’t stick very well."
  • "They also didn’t adhere to my panties as well and seemed to shift and stick to my hair."
  • "The adhesive on the back of theses are not that good and there is none on the edges of the liner which makes them bunch up a bit."

Environmental Concerns

Pros:

  • "They are nicely wrapped which can be recycled to dispose of used liners."

Cons:

  • "they are not in any way environment-friendly as the plastic around them is simply not needed."
  • "Not only is the packaging plastic, but each individual pad is wrapped in plastic. Finally, the pads are not recyclable."
  • "Very thin and are wrapped in plastic when the world is concerned about too much plastic going into the landfills, etc. -- they should be wrapped in some type of paper product."
  • "I've been using always for years, because I medically need them. I recently switched from a 4 long to a 2 long because of the huge environmental impact always pads have."

Absorbency

Pros:

  • "These liners are just great! I never have to worry about 'spillage' when wearing them. I can even wear them comfortably under leggings."
  • "I have to be completely honest, I suffer from incontinence. It's an embarrassing issue and can be even more embarrassing when you have an accident and you can't depend on what you're wearing to deal with it. I absolutely love these pads - they absorb very quickly and can absorb quite a bit of liquid."
  • "These pads are very absorbent, stay in place, and are comfortable."
  • "This product provides enough absorbency and coverage to prevent embarrassing accidents."
  • "They do absorb great, no problems there."

Cons:

  • "They don’t stock very well to cotton and they shed with wear leaning spider webs of frayed pad sticking to you."
  • "The absorbent part is only about 5 ½ inches. The border frill may make them as long as the product description says they are."
  • "The stickum is not strong enough to stick to the material of the panties (cotton or nylon) and will slide out of place even when you are trying to pull the panties up."
  • "I ordered these based on the packaging stating they were thin 'liners'. There is nothing thin about these things. I fill like I am wearing a maxi pad."
