Adhesion

Pros:

  • "They stay on pretty well too."
  • "This sticks on your face pretty well as I slept 8 hours with it on my face and it was still intact."
  • "These patches mean business! I've never used Rael before, but they are incredibly sticky and work great overnight!"
  • "They did stick and stay on very well."
  • "Stickiness was very good (they stuck to my super oily face ALL NIGHT .. no problem)."
  • "I never had any issues keeping them on at all."
  • "If you can get these to stay on, they work fairly well."

Cons:

  • "The only downside is that the patch is not translucent as the pimple patches from Rael."
  • "The pads kept falling off and would not stick overnight."
  • "The adhesive around them doesn’t really stick well."
  • "NOT A SINGLE DOT stayed on my face because it is not sticky enough."
  • "Half the time they fell off minutes after applying them so a good amount of them were just wasted."
  • "Even after pressing it for 15-30 seconds pretty firmly, it doesn’t stick. Luckily the spikes will hold it on your skin just fine."
  • "I found they didn’t quite stick to my skin very well."

Effectiveness

Pros:

  • "I absolutely love this product!! I get a lot of deep pimples and this brings them to the surface."
  • "Significantly shrunk the size and pain of the cyst."
  • "After three patches and about 8 hours later, my cyst is almost entirely gone, without any redness or flakiness."
  • "Wonderful, works on my cystic hormonal acne."
  • "The swelling was down 50+% and the pain was down 90% after the first use."
  • "This is probably the only pimple patch I’ve used that gets most of the pimple out on the first use."
  • "These patches actually DO work very well! However, it took using them like 3 nights in a row to get it to go away. Now the papules did fully go away with ZERO scarring."

Cons:

  • "This literally did nothing to by reddish pimple..it just did nothing."
  • "They did nothing. Didn't hurt, didn't help."
  • "I’ve never had a breakout turn into what this little guy did to my face."
  • "But I've used 6 and haven't noticed any difference."
  • "The patches were still ineffective even after using 3 of them."
  • "I’ve used about six of them on different cystic acne places over the last few weeks and none have worked to get rid of them or at least bring it to the surface."
  • "Patches are hard to handle, microdarts don’t seem to penetrate acne and I saw NO results after using."

Price

Pros:

  • "I was really excited to see that these had a lower price tag than other similar products, but after using it the last couple of months I’m a bit disappointed."
  • "Price was very reasonable."
  • "These, as well as mighty patch, are a great price point, and actually do stick well contrary to what other people say."
  • "These are a great alternative. It does take a few patches for my acne spots to go completely away but i don’t feel as upset about that with the lower price for these."
  • "They are especially good for those deep, under the skin pimples. They are a little pricey and I wish they came in larger packs but I will continue to repurchase these and have them on hand."
  • "The only thing about these that I feel is an improvement over Mighty Patch is the quantity that you get for the price, and the stickiness."
  • "I just wish they weren't so expensive bc now i want to have some on hand at all times."

Cons:

  • "Too expensive considering that most people with acne will need to treat a number of pimples several times to get rid of it all."
  • "These are so expensive and it comes with 9 dots."
  • "These patches are really expensive, so I was really hoping it would be worth it."
  • "It work just as good as any other acne patch I’ve used, but is way to expensive when you only get 9 patches."
  • "I find $12 for 9 tiny patches to be ridiculously expensive."
  • "First of all, this item is far too expensive for 9 patches."
  • "However, these were super expensive - I thought I was getting like 20 dots and the package contains only 9."

Packaging

Pros:

  • "The packaging keeps them secure, and I am generally happy with the outcomes."
  • "First off, I want to thank the person in Rael who came up with the idea for the new packaging. IT IS QUALITY. I really like how it comes in a small plastic case+zipper bag because it keeps the product airtight and sanitary."
  • "The packaging is nice, it comes with a little raised box so the needles dont get squished."
  • "The packaging is pretty. Feels like you're using something expensive."
  • "One of the best products on the market for blemishes."
  • "You receive 9 patches on a plastic film placed in a plastic box."
  • "This is one of the only skin patches I will use and they actually work in reducing the size of the pimple or even getting rid of it completely."

Cons:

  • "I did not like how the popular/more expensive brand uses so much packaging, but now I'm thinking that it might be necessary?"
  • "Although the packaging seems sterile with the plastic casing and the ziplock bag, I felt like the needles were not being protected enough with them being exposed on the sheet it comes in."
  • "The sheet they’re on has holes where the spikes are so there’s no way to have them be protected from bacteria besides the little clan case they come in."
  • "These patches are NOT sanitary b/c the little spikes don’t come attached to a plastic lining, only the sticky rim is on the plastic."
  • "The problem is if you feel the other side of the film you can feel an inner circle which will also peel off."
  • "I am seriously considering switching over to another supplier for my pimple stickers. Although I love Rael, they keep constantly drastically changing the price and they also keep having major issues with restocking."
  • "Sadly, these did not work for me."
