Sturdiness and Build Quality

Pros:

  • "The legs are very sturdy, love the coated steel material."
  • "It folds up flat and is surprisingly sturdy once opened."
  • "Made from good study metal."
  • "It is sturdy and I have no problems with tipping."
  • "This stand is sturdy, but you have to distribute the weight when drying 2 or 3 bottles."
  • "It's heavy, not flimsy, so it will not tip over."
  • "Very sturdy and well made."

Cons:

  • "I had this product for about six months when I noticed signs of rust."
  • "The stand’s powder coating progressively peeled through time, which now renders it hazardous for use."
  • "NOT dishwasher safe; NOT for any kind of wet area--RUST ENSUES within a couple of months."
  • "The only issue I have is that it gets water marks on the bottom if you don’t dry it often and I wonder if the bottom will begin to rust at some point."
  • "Only time will tell how well it will stand up to constantly being wet (rust)."
  • "The base shows sections of rust unfortunately."
  • "Only challenge is if there's one item it's off balance."

Versatility and Usefulness

Pros:

  • "I keep finding new ways to use this incredibly versatile tool, and am wondering how I lived this long without one."
  • "I also use it to keep a storage bag open when I am freezing leftovers."
  • "Super useful, I use it as garbage bag holder, ziplock bag dryer, cutting board dryer, the possibility you can do with this item is awesome."
  • "I have also used it to hold plastic bags open as I scoop in leftovers."
  • "I use it to dry reusable water bottles that always fall over otherwise."
  • "I use this to dry reused zip-lock baggies."
  • "This might seem like a silly purchase but I truly use this a lot."

Cons:

  • "The bottles don’t seem to dry any quicker hanging on this that when I let them air dry standing up."
  • "However, it tips over if you try to use it for a metal bottle like a hydroflask, unless you counter balance it with another heavy bottle on the opposite side."
  • "Bought this for drying glass and unfortunately it is a bit tipsy unless you have two bottles balancing one another out."
  • "The black tips come off and disappear. The bottom rubber pads’s adhesive dissolves and disappear."
  • "It's a great place for mold, mildew, and rust to live and is a swallow hazard for small children (looking at you, baby bottle air drying people)!"
  • "The posts are a little narrow making them top heavy when mugs are placed."
  • "I'm sure this is a very good product for drying bags and bottles, but I bought it primarily to hold bags open when I'm filling them and for this use I consider it a failure."

Design and Storage

Pros:

  • "It folds easily for storage and takes up almost no space."
  • "It folds up to store flat but mine is in constant use."
  • "It's collapsible, so it stores easily when not being used."
  • "I also like that it folds up when not in use."
  • "It folds when not in use; stores in a drawer."
  • "When not in use it folds up neatly to stow away."
  • "I love that this product is collapsable."

Cons:

  • "I wish it was just a bit wider. As a Japanese I can imagine it fits for Japanese household but it’s a little too small for the American household."
  • "Only downfall is regarding sturdiness. Being able to fold it down takes away a bit from its sturdiness."
  • "It is lightweight so it can tip if you put something heavy on one side and not on the other but I’ve only had it happen once."
  • "Heavy items need to be balanced on the other side or the rack may topple over, but that's easy to do."
  • "That said, the law of physics still applies, so if I put a heavy leaded drinking glass on one side, it's going to tip over."
  • "It is probably going to take up some counter space for awhile and then go into the garage sale box."
  • "Water drains onto the counter if not used in combination with some means for collecting excess water."
