  • "These are a nice sturdy well crafted air filters. They are exceptional value for the money."
  • "The filter is easy to install, and filters the air."
  • "All of the sizes fit my HVAC returns without a problem - yes, they were slightly smaller than the 3M but they fit without any gaps in my returns."
  • "Since we have been using these filters for over two years, now, we have noticed a substantial reduction in the amount of dust and pet hair in the air."
  • "I would recommend anyone with breathing issues to try these filters. They helped me and kept the stuff floating around this old house filtered pretty good."
  • "After years of using the more expensive filters I took a chance on these to see how well they worked in comparison. So far I am impressed mainly because they do trap dust better."

Cons:

  • "Two order, and two returns. I have used these in the past and they have worked great - but Amazon can’t seem to ship any that are not horribly mangled on arrival."
  • "These are the worst air filters I have ever purchased."
  • "Seemed like a good deal. The width is less than advertised."
  • "These are so flimsy that when I installed one, as soon as the air handler came on, the air flow buckled the filter and sucked it up against the coils."
  • "Avoid these, they are not 20x20x1, they are 19 1/2 x 19 1/2, which barely covers a standard opening."
  • "They are very low quality. the cardboard edges are very flimsy and collapse under the pull of the HVAC system."
  • "The cardboard frame is extremely flimsy and can barely hold its own shape."

Filter Fit and Size

Pros:

  • "The filters arrived in those exact measurements, which matched the measurements of my old 3M filter."
  • "I’ve purchased these several times. They fit well and seem to filter well also."
  • "Normally I purchase 3M filters, but wanted to reduce my cost this time."
  • "Been using these filters for about 2 years now. Just ordered more and got them fast. Slightly smaller than the 14x14 return vents that I have in the ceiling."
  • "I'm not sure why the A/C guy installed two of these, but buying them locally costs twice as much."
  • "Works great! Fits our central AC vent well - even better than the previous filter we had in."
  • "The filters arrived on time and fit perfectly."

Cons:

  • "These may be great filters but clearly this company doesn’t know how to measure! They say 4” on the description and on the labels but they are actually 3 3/4” wide."
  • "You get what you pay for, stick with the namebrand like Honeywell or you’re gonna have a loose fitting filter, which doesn’t do such a great job, how could it?"
  • "Very disappointed to have wasted $50 on these!"
  • "Filters deform way too easily. The last 3 I’ve removed have been almost folded."
  • "These filters are quite a bit smaller than their stated 'nominal' size."
  • "These are slightly smaller than they should be and they buckle and then start whistling because they don't fit right in a 20x20x1."
  • "These filters are significantly undersized. About one inch short on the long dimension."

Packaging and Shipping

Pros:

  • "Shipped loose with no sort of manufacturer seal or labeling."
  • "I ordered these filters to use in my home and have been very happy with the quality."
  • "Great price for the quantity."

Cons:

  • "Several of them were damaged (bent) in the box."
  • "Poorly packaged. Arrived in light bent-torn up cardboard box. The 6 filters not individually wrapped in plastic either."
  • "I do wish this seller would ship this six pack of filters in a heavier duty cardboard box. Mine arrived at the house somewhat deformed and compressed."
  • "Product was slightly damaged in the corners and on the filters there is no identification that they are MERV13 rated which is what I paid for."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Finally, I can afford a decent air filter. I have to change frequently because of cats. These are just as good as the pricey ones from box stores."
  • "I have ordered in-house A/C air filters from Amazon probably for the past 5-years. Best price I can find."
  • "I live in the Midwest so these filters last a whole year before they have to be replaced."
  • "Everything works fine and I saved a lot of money."
  • "These filters are an improvement for the price of what I have been buying from Lowes."

Cons:

  • "The saying hold true, you get what you pay for."
  • "I strongly recommend purchasing a different brand. I previously used Filtrete brand- they fit like a glove and have excellent batch to batch reproducibility."
  • "A whole box of filters and $55 wasted. Do not buy."
  • "I would not recommend them to anyone."
  • "I will not buy this product again."
