  • "Keeps food really hot for quite a while and seems to be totally spillproof so far."

Cons:

  • "When they get home from school, sometimes it is warm (about 8 hours later) but they usually have to reheat it if they want to eat it because it is not quite hot enough to preference after 8 hours."
  • "The food jar arrived on time at least. It does not keep any thing hot even when you acclimate it with hot water to bring the interior temperature up."
  • "Hot does not hold as long but it will be at a good temperature for eating 6 hours later."
  • "I have tried multiple times to use this for soup. I have boiled water let it stay in there for 20 minutes. Poured the water out and put boiling hot soup in. 4 hours later it is room temperature and that’s it."
  • "The food only stays lukewarm after 4-5 hours."
  • "Even then, it only stayed hot for about 2 hours."
  • "Unfortunately, it doesn't keep hot and once the top is closed it is impossible to open it."

Durability and Design

  • "These jars are like the Energizer Bunny of food containers. They withstand the chaotic life of a school backpack and the unpredictable adventures of family outings."
  • "Super durable and easy to clean, too."

  • "The wide mouth makes it easy for them to eat directly from the jar, and the lid doubles as a convenient serving bowl."

Cons:

  • "First of all, it leaks. It's a design flaw because the inner seal comes off."
  • "If you leave the top loose to avoid pressure, it leaks."
  • "It's a nice item, but it loses a lot of heat through its lid."
  • "It is awkward to eat from the container."
  • "The paint flecks end up all over my daughter’s lunch box and in the sink."
  • "The screws cannot be tightened."
  • "There was a slight dent right out of the box."

Spoon Design

  • "It comes with a foldable spoon which is convenient and the whole thing is very easy to clean."

Cons:

  • "However, the spoons are only right handed!"
  • "The spoon is on two hinges so it can fold up small but because I am left handed every time I scoop food out my spoon folds in slightly on itself."
  • "The only thing I would change, is the spoon. It kind of flops around a bit."
  • "The spoons are pretty terrible. After only a couple of months hinge points in folding spoons started to loosen and now swing around loosely."
  • "The spoon has trouble staying attached to the lid."
  • "We absolutely love them but there is one significant flaw. The spoon is on two hinges so it can fold up small but because I am left handed every time I scoop food out my spoon folds in slightly on itself."
