Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "Looking for a bit more cush under the soles of my feet and these did the trick."
  • "The added cushion to my shoes feels wonderful!"
  • "Very thin insoles fit easily in shoe without making them tighter. Comfortable, easy to install and easy to remove."
  • "These are thin but also help fill out my shoes just enough and now they fit perfectly! As a bonus they are super comfortable and make walking around a dream."
  • "I am flat footed and was having hip pain at work from a pair of new shoes. Two other insoles weren't comfortable because the arch was too high. These completely fixed my hip and foot pain!"
  • "These insoles are the absolute best ones I have ever tried. They are durable, comfortable and you can adjust the memory foam to your foot size."
  • "These are a life-saver! I have two pairs of FAVORITE boots that were wearing so badly on the inside sole that I couldn't wear them anymore."

Cons:

  • "Definitely not for guys that are size 13+ cause you will for sure lose coverage on all sides."
  • "Plus they are so thick- my toes rub on the top of my shoe. It’s uncomfortable."
  • "They really cheaped out on these. I’ve been buying them for years and they were super comfortable. The last two I’ve bought seems they cut the thickness in half."
  • "They don't really offer any support, even when worn over orthotics."
  • "I purchased to help make loose slippers fit better. I don’t believe they’d do much to alleviate pain or offer arch support."
  • "These soles were great to start with but after about 2 weeks at work in a heavy labor environment they started to fall apart and within 5 weeks they were unusable."
  • "these are so thin i found no comfort in them at all."

Durability and Quality

Pros:

  • "I've had them inserted into the shoes for a couple of months now and they are holding up (with moderate wear)."
  • "These were insanely cheap but are holding up really well."
  • "Worked great but didn't last long at all."
  • "These were really cheap, and served the purpose that I intended them to serve so I can't really complain."
  • "I do a lot of walking, so mine lasts for 3-4 months at a time."
  • "Insoles are made well enough, I may use 2-3 pair for a 6 month+ period, daily use."
  • "The breathable cushion makes for a comfortable foot bed and the cushions maintain their shape and durability after washing."

Cons:

  • "The only downside is they only last a month (could be less if u wear ur shoes everyday) before a hole appears where I personally need it most."
  • "These lasted less than a month before they started sliding around."
  • "They also don't last very long, losing their cushioning within a few weeks of regular use."
  • "For 5 bucks you can't really complain but they literally lasted me about 2 weeks before they were shredded to pieces in my shoe."
  • "However, he wore a hole all the way through the heel in just 2 months."
  • "They don’t last too long, but they’re inexpensive and easy to replace and for the thinness it gives you a little padding so not too bad for what they are great for the price."
  • "This is what they look like after less than a month. Falling apart and tearing."

Size and Customization

Pros:

  • "It was easy to cut down to size."
  • "Easy to fit most shoes. Further, it gives elastic support -- great comfort."
  • "They are easier to trim to size than the gel versions, and thin enough to fit in tighter shoes."
  • "It was very easy to trim this to the shape of my Rothy's insoles."
  • "I traced a pattern using the old liners as a guide to cut these. They cut easily and cleanly."
  • "Easy to cut and they are standard size."
  • "Sized them down to fit a pair of shoes that are a tad large! They take up just enough room without affecting cushioning!"

Cons:

  • "Also, these require you cut them to size. But the cutout lines can be confusing and do not mold to the shoe shape."
  • "The sizing runs larger than what is said in the description."
  • "I did not like that you have to cut them to your shoe size!"
  • "It's one size, but instead of having the cut-out lines (for sizing) be on the back of the item like other brands, it's on a separate piece of paper."
  • "Cutting them with scissors leaves a ragged edge."
  • "They're also easy to cut to size if you need to."
  • "Was very surprised to see Scholls doesn't print sizing lines on these inserts."

Packaging and Quantity

Pros:

  • "First. For those saying you receive only one did not take the time to separate them. It is a pair."
  • "These feel great!! I was confused at first too, thinking it was only one insole and ordered another pair only to find out they do actually split apart!!!"
  • "If you read a review about only being 1 inside they are wrong. I also thought this. I bought 4 sets and opened 2 and the brown parts and literally stuck together you need to pull them apart when it seems like it would ruin them. They come apart and you get your pair."
  • "Great pair of inserts. Little confused at first as I thought I only received 1 insert but realized the 2 inserts are stuck together in the packaging."
  • "First, there are TWO insoles - it does look like one, but they're just smooshed together."
  • "There really are two insoles in the package, just sandwiched together so its hard to see at first."
  • "I am not sure why everyone claims there is only one insole in the package because mine definitely had two--They are stuck back to back so it looks like one, but they easily peel apart."

Cons:

  • "The insole add said there would be 2 insoles in the package..but I only got one."
  • "Got product. There was only one insert so I had it resent. New one came, still only one in the package though the package clearly states a 'pair' is inside."
  • "This was crazy! People have 2 feet for 2 shoes in a pair. So it beat me that I got only one sole rather than 2."
  • "Mad at myself for not reading online 'reviews' prior to ordering. I received only one insole in the package that states: 'One pair.'"
  • "These say '1 Pair' on the package, but only 1 insole is included."
  • "This product was listed as a pair. The package stated there was a pair inside. There was only one inside."
  • "The description on the packaging is very misleading as it clearly says 'a pair' but there is only one insole!"
