Arch Support

Pros:

  • "These give great arch support which I never knew I needed until I started wearing these."
  • "They are cushioned but still provide good arch support."
  • "The support and especially the relief is instant Just what the doctor ordered!"
  • "These shoe arches enable me to walk much better than I can without them. Not perfect, but a major improvement."
  • "These were recommended by my podiatrist after a visit and diagnosis of planters facetious."
  • "Really good support and fit. Was comfortable immediately."
  • "The power strip supports seem to provide more/higher arch support and since they fit the entire shoe, they don't move around."

Cons:

  • "For reason this current set are not the same quality of previous sets."
  • "These are not worth the money in my opinion There is not much padding in the heel, so I do not know where they say heel pain relief. It's just not there."
  • "After one month they both start having an atrocious squeaking sound with every step."
  • "The fabric developed a hole after a few months and the quality control is terrible, all the pairs were slightly differently shaped and cut - almost like they were seconds."
  • "The arch support has created an irritating ridge on the bottom of my foot because it is higher than the cushioning that starts at the ball of my foot."
  • "If your arch is not EXACTLY where the arch is on these, you will feel like you are walking on a bubble."
  • "But when it comes to arch support it sucks. Barely any in my opinion."

Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "This is an AMAZING product. It feels very comfortable in my dress shoes, which I also wear for work."
  • "These were great. No pain."
  • "I will never go without them, they instantly took the pain away in the first day."
  • "This fits very well in any shoes from dress to sport shoes and boots."
  • "They fit beautifully, and have offered much relief for my Plantar Faciitis."
  • "These have replaced my usual insoles. They are firm insoles. Not gel or foam or padding."
  • "They fit my shoes perfectly and are true to size."

Cons:

  • "I’ve been buying these for a few years, but the last two I’ve bought have fallen apart quickly."
  • "The price on these have gone way up since last time I bought some."
  • "They also run narrow."

  • "But unfortunately not helping my plantar faciitis. I am having heal pain now."
  • "The insoles are slightly lifted making my shoes so tight my toes fell asleep."
  • "Ordered these inserts based on my doctor recommendation. I ordered the correct size based on my shoe size but they do not fit in my work shoes."

Durability and Quality

Pros:

  • "Very durable and still look brand new."
  • "I have been using these inserts for a while and they perform well."
  • "I liked the added cushioning and support to my feet. Helps with the plantar issues and Achilles tendinitis."
  • "These are perfect for my flat feet. The arch isn't too high which can be painful."

  • "They are a life saver and I love the price. I personally think they are as good as custom orthotics."
  • "I’ve used Power Step insoles for 20 years. They are comfortable and easily moved between shoes."

Cons:

  • "It didn’t take long for the top blue layer to come off. Even though the support is still there the top is now this grippy fabric that makes it very hard to slide your foot into the shoe."
  • "I find they last around 6 - 8 months before I notice they start to break down."
  • "Everything about these is great except that they make your feet warm which, of course, leads to excess perspiration."
  • "The latest set has the blue fabric peeling off which is quite annoying to walk on."
  • "But they failed me less that two months after I started using them."
  • "The regular Pinnacle does not do this and works much better for me."
  • "Not worth the price in my opinion."
