Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "It's what we rely on most to extend my baby's naps and if we are planning on being somewhere where he might be easily overstimulated."
  • "For use around the house---like when baby wants to be held and I want to be able to type on my computer or sort laundry---it's perfect."
  • "I can also put it on myself without help."
  • "This spread shoulder design also does disperse the weight better for less stress on the body."
  • "I am a tall plus size woman and it fits easily."
  • "I love that I can put it on by myself, without any help and easily adjust the straps and fabric around my baby."
  • "The fabric is super soft and durable and makes it easy to wear with baby."

Cons:

  • "After a while it does start to hurt my back/shoulders but it could just need some adjusting on my part."
  • "It says you can start wearing it with a newborn but I’m honestly not sure how safe or comfortable it would be for such a small baby."
  • "I used to use the wrap but it started to dig into my neck and shoulders and hurt my back."
  • "Even when tightened this did not support my 1 month old very well."
  • "The fabric is just too stretchy. Even my husband has tried to tie it tight enough to make it work, but then it's so tight it hurts.... And the baby still falls down to far."
  • "The buckle areas are not padded, so I was afraid they would start to feel like they’re digging in after longer wear."
  • "The waist belt was awful, not structured whatsoever. It hurt my back and it would fold down right where my baby would sit."

Material Quality

Pros:

  • "This frontal baby carrier is made of thick quality fabric."
  • "Absolutely love this hybrid carrier, it is a soft stretchy material."
  • "The material is like a super-soft, stretchy T-shirt or like a very lightweight and cozy sweatshirt. Lots of give."
  • "Soft and stretchy like a wrap carrier with the ease of use of a traditional carrier."
  • "The material is soft and stretchy but also supportive and durable."
  • "Fabric is durable but still soft-quality is good."
  • "Soft, stretchy and breathable fabric. Colour is true to picture."

Cons:

  • "I’ve only had it a couple months but it’s really disappointing because the seams are starting to rip and my baby is not even a big baby."
  • "It’s starting to rip and the seams are coming undone."
  • "We eventually had to stop using them because the fabric started to rip at the stitching and we no longer felt it was safe."
  • "It started tearing at the seam after < 2 months of use, and Boba wouldn't stand behind their product."
  • "If you pull too hard, I can imagine the webbing would rip from the wrap part."
  • "When trying to wrap our baby, the ends drag all over the floor (it's nearly impossible not to) and transfer dirt onto her."
  • "This although it’s made pretty good is not plus size friendly."

Usability

Pros:

  • "Great product so long as the temperature does not exceed 85-90 degrees."
  • "I love that this one is cooler and much easier to put on in public or in a hurry."
  • "It's easy and quick to put on!"
  • "It is light weight and flexible, easy to put on and comfortable to wear."
  • "This carrier is great, I love it! The fabric is soft and stretchy and it’s easy to put on by yourself."
  • "The design of this carrier is very intuitive - I was able to put it on from the first try without looking at instructions."
  • "Very simple instructions to follow to put it on."

Cons:

  • "The Moby wrap would stretch out as I was wearing it and I would have to untie it and tighten it and re tie it."
  • "The only thing its hard to wear in the summer time with the heat."
  • "The baby carriers that need to be tied are nonsense. There are much easier and better designs now."
  • "It does take a bit of time to learn to put it on properly but it is worth it."
  • "It can be challenging to get the straps up over your shoulders with out twisting them."
  • "Shoulders are hard to spread open all the way while holding baby and make me feel like I can’t lift my arms up to get stuff done."
  • "It’s very difficult to put on."
