Durability and Quality of Materials

Pros:

  • "This TechWare knee brace is the best I have bought!! The velcrostraps are very easy and fast to attach, the velcro to fabric attachment has held up longer than the others I have bought."
  • "Great fit, was concerned about it slipping down but the straps are quite firm."

Cons:

  • "Started out great but after 2 months velcro gave out and would not hold at all."
  • "I purchased this less than a month ago and it is already wearing out where the velcro adheres to the brace."
  • "This is my favorite knee brace... After 1 month the Velcro isn’t sticking anymore."
  • "I've bought 3 of these since the end of February... The only complaint that I have is how fast it wears out."
  • "I bought this brace as a 'just in case' need while hiking the TMB. The hook and pile straps seem to be durable but I was also careful separating them when taking it off."

Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "This brace is one of the best I’ve bought… It is easy to put on, comfortable to wear, & fits under most of my jeans."
  • "I am morbidly obese by medical standards and it is difficult to find braces that not only fit, but do not slide down. I wear it all day with minimal issues."
  • "The chiropractor told my husband to get a knee brace. My husband is a bigger man. I loved that this brace had bigger sizes and wasn’t a sleeve."
  • "I had purchased this item several years ago and loved it. My knee is supported weather it is racing through airports or playing with my grandchildren."

Cons:

  • "The wrap above the knee was on a weird angle so when you try to bring it around it just doesn't give a good fit and there is a strap behind the knee that rubs."
  • "Ordered the largest size, which should fit based on their sizing. Middle strap too short and once I got it on, was rubbing the back of my knee."
  • "I measured and followed the size chart. Unfortunately it was too small to be comfortable."
  • "Unfortunately because the straps aren't contoured for the larger top of the leg, the instant I stand up or try to walk it starts shifting down."

Support and Efficacy

Pros:

  • "I didn't expect for it to help well as it did, took away at least 50-60 percent of the pain away."
  • "This was purchased to help an elderly person with a bone on bone knee condition... it does help to a small extent providing support to the joint."
  • "I’ve been working out for a few weeks and I somehow hurt my knee and I needed something to hold it in place. I bought this and omg, it’s perfect for my workouts! Highly recommend."
  • "Sometimes when my knee(s) start to feel weak I put this brace on. It provides the desired support."

Cons:

  • "Straps bunch up behind knee unless you keep your leg straight all the time. I also got a rash on my knee where I had to stop wearing it until the Rash healed."
  • "This knee brace does quite a bit for the knee... But... It's a fairly thick brace and when cinched up, can be extremely stiff on the leg, limiting how much range of motion you feel like you have."
  • "I have a torn meniscus and am still looking for a supportive knee brace. This one doesn't cut it. It doesn't prevent the motion or provide the stability on each side of the knee."
