  • "It really does help to moisturize the inside of your nose."
  • "It definitely keeps my nasal tissue moist and stopped the nosebleeds."
  • "Just received it and applied inside nostrils - felt very soothing and could breathe better instantly."
  • "I’ve used this for years to protect the lining of my nose while using a cpap."
  • "This is the best product I have used to date. Highly recommend."
  • "This stuff works great, it goes on smooth, it's cooling, and has no odor or unpleasant side effects at all."

Cons:

  • "Didn't use the product because the package looked like it had been tampered with."
  • "I tried it for several days and it did absolutely nothing."
  • "Did not work at all. It dries out and makes my nose crusty."
  • "The product does a fair job, not perfect and needs to be reapplied often."
  • "First two days I used worked ok, but suddenly on third day I developed a severe allergic rhinitis."
  • "This product looks, feels, and acts like some form of thickened water... it sadly lasts 10 minutes before I have to reapply."
  • "It's severely painful to apply despite it specifically stating you can apply it on the insides of your nose and specifically for low humid use."

Application & Consistency

Pros:

  • "Just need a little bit when my nose is dry."
  • "It is thick enough to stay in place."
  • "Rhinase stays where you place it and doesn't run down your throat."
  • "It has no fragrance, it has a consistency that allows it to adhere to a Qtip."
  • "Goes on thin and stays in place to work."
  • "This lovely gel when fastidiously applied provides relief."
  • "The first application was simple and my son was glad he could still breathe while also lubricating his passages."

Cons:

  • "In trying to open the new type of silver-capped tube, the entire applicator top came off!"
  • "It is a bit difficult to apply. I used a q-tip, which worked fine but did kind of stick to the insides of my nose."
  • "After using this for a while, I have noticed that it causes a slightly hardened crusting or dried discharge from nose several hours after using."
  • "The gel solution itself is great and moisturizes well, but the poor packaging and metallic tube-material develops holes and essentially renders the product useless after about a month."
  • "It leaves a film around the nostrils that doesn't look great."
  • "The gel is hard to apply evenly."
  • "It's a little tricky to get in his nose but that would be the case with any product I tired to put in his nose."

Price & Packaging

Pros:

  • "Lots cheaper than buying from the drugstore and exactly the same product that was prescribed to my husband by prescription."
  • "This product offers a product size improvement over Ayr."
  • "Exceptional product at nearly half the cost of the competing brands."
  • "This is much better than the product that I have been purchasing from a local drug store. The price is amazing also. Highly recommend."
  • "A little expensive, but it's a large tube."
  • "The tube has lasted me 6 months so far."
  • "Great product I had to go to emergency room for a nosebleed and it was still bleeding after being sealed well after multiple doctors appointments and X-Ray this stuff stopped my bleeding I apply it couple of times a night."

Cons:

  • "Altho this nose product is way too expensive I’m stuck having to buy/use it."
  • "The price is a little high though."
  • "Last, this is WAY overpriced IMO considering it did nothing for me. Wouldn't buy again."
  • "I can't believe I paid $15 for this. I'd pay $5 tops if it provided any of the advertised benefits."
  • "I will not buy this again unless I really need to or they increase the size of the tube or lower the price."
  • "Product seems ok, but very strangely and though sealed, the tube which claims to contain 30 grams was no more than 1/4 full."
  • "The reason for the 4 stars is the metal tube which waste some of the product when I get to the end of the tube."

Scent & Sensitivity

Pros:

  • "It doesn’t smell like anything and a little goes a long way."
  • "I love that this has no scent. I like scents but not in a gel that I put up my nose."
  • "It doesn't have a strong smell, I put this stuff ALL the way up my nose and I have an excellent sense of smell."
  • "I am very sensitive to scents, so I was worried about tolerating it. There was a bit of a scent the first time or two, but now I am not aware of any scent at all."
  • "This is fragrance free and works great."
  • "It doesn’t have any annoying fragrance."
  • "This stuff is lovely. It doesn't make all my issues go away but the inside of my nose does not hurt anymore and it's easier to clear it when it gets stuffy."

Cons:

  • "I do notice a little bit of an astringent scent, but it is not strong or offensive to me."
  • "This didn't work for me. My nose also hates whatever is in this tube."

  • "I've been using Ayr nasal gel for years but it can burn in the beginning, but then it thins out and nicely coats my sinuses."
  • "It stings my cracked and dry nose."
  • "Worst mistake ever. This stuff is super thick and when you put it in your sinuses it doesn't burn but it also doesn't do anything but clog everything up."
  • "I am a sensitive person with a very dry nose. I liked using this at first, but over time it stung more and more."
