Card Variety

Pros:

  • "These are from current gens like Obsidian Flame, Pokemon GO, 151, etc."
  • "We ordered this 50 pack of cards for my five-year-old... A total of three varieties were in this pack."
  • "For the clueless parents and grandparents out there, this is a good value to build up your lower ranks."
  • "The deck I got has a great variety of Pokémon and item/trainer cards."
  • "I got these for my son's 4th birthday... we received 50 cards without a single duplicate."

Cons:

  • "The entire set of 50 only contained THREE different cards."
  • "All 50 cards are Trainer cards. There is not a single Pokémon or Energy card in the deck."
  • "I was expecting at least some cards from different series as I have SVI, but all 50 cards were from SVI."
  • "These cards are too expensive for most families so it would be wonderful if there were more promotions with these cards to put them in reach for many more families."
  • "I just wanted to mention that these are usually already opened pokemon packs that they pull all the good ones from and then sell the rest in lots."

Card Condition

Pros:

  • "Came in a thin plastic wrap inside an Amazon box... all very low and basic cards but they were all in good condition."
  • "Bought two packs, had no duplicates and only a few energy, and all but 1 bent card were pristine."
  • "The cards were in good quality but I probably got only about 10 kinds of pokemon."
  • "We were happy with the quantity of cards and most were distinct."
  • "I ordered two packs for my daughter... Almost all of her cards were pokemon. Only 2 or 3 trainer cards. She got basic, stage 1, and even a stage 2 pokemon."

Cons:

  • "Came after the expected delivery date. Inside the box was a torn open package and cards strewn about the box."
  • "Over all it was what was expected from the pack... the clear plastic that they're packed in was not too protective the edges of most the card were damaged."
  • "I had the best fun ever with my grandkids... These cards are too expensive for most families so it would be wonderful if there were more promotions with these cards to put them in reach for many more families."
  • "I think they cheat you with these cards on purpose as a marketing and profit strategy because it is not worth paying for return shipping and/or the cards are not returnable."
  • "I thought the cards would come in a container with cellophane wrapped around the container. They were loose."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for.' There are only 20 unique cards - the other 30 are duplicates."
  • "The price is right for sets of 50 cards ($4.25-$4.60)."
  • "Bought two packs, had no duplicates and only a few energy... These seem to frequently be around the 5$ mark and are a slam dunk for the price."
  • "For the price, this was actually a really good deal. Common cards mostly, only 4 duplicates."
  • "I couldn’t pass up the price on these. So many cards for the price. No doubles."

Cons:

  • "I wouldn’t buy these again. Luckily they weren’t a lot of money, but super disappointed in what I got."
  • "Most of my cards were... I either want a new pack with different ones or a full refund because what's the point spending the money on that same cards."
  • "I would not buy these again, very disappointing. If I could give less stars I would."
  • "This is not worth it. Most my pack was 4 common cards. No halos or reverse or anything better."
  • "Don't expect anything valuable, obviously, but it was a good variety of different types of cards with minimal duplicates, and exactly the correct number."
