Usability

Pros:

  • "They are true cleaning workhorses that have been useful in reducing the use of paper towels in my home."
  • "These are a fantastic deal. While not quite as soft as some micro fiber I have purchased before. They are eminently suited for cleaning which is the intended use for which I purchased them."
  • "They wash and dry and come out like they are brand new."
  • "I use in bathrooms to keep the counter tops dry."
  • "I just spilled black coffee on my cream and ivory rug. I grabbed one of these microfiber cloth‘s, and blotted up every bit of that coffee."
  • "Great for pretty much any purpose. I use them for my face, as my towels tend to be a bit to rough and can cause irritation to my sensitive skin."
  • "They hold up to washing. I usually line dry my laundry, so don't know about drying in a clothes dryer."

Cons:

  • "They are kind of static-y/grabby; I washed some once and they caught a bunch of lint and dust."
  • "Not the greatest for car cleaning which was my intention."
  • "The cloths are fairly light and I wonder if they will last the '100s of times' as advertised."
  • "These are very cheap. The material is very thin, and they start to roll up in the corners after just one wash."
  • "When I use them they don’t wipe in a clean sweep ... the cloth itself drags. So you can’t do a wipe, you try to wipe but it gets stuck.... that is the drag part. Very very odd!!"
  • "The worst part is that the yellow cloths bleed... into other laundry, onto white surfaces, etc. Don't wash them with your whites."
  • "Not plush enough to trust it on anything of value."

Quality and Durability

Pros:

  • "Quality as good as more expensive ones."
  • "These microfiber cloths are just as good as advertised."
  • "I bought these cloths in 2016 and am back in 2020 looking for more."
  • "They arent the most absorbent, but are great for housework cleanup (paint, caulk, oil, etc)."
  • "I have only washed a couple a few times, however, they seem to be holding up well, meaning I will get long use from them."
  • "Works good on glass and as soft clothes on hard services."
  • "The three colors allow me to designate cloths for the kitchen/bath/remainder of the house."

Cons:

  • "Primary problem is that each cloth is so thin you need multiples to clean up wet messes."
  • "Secondary problem is that each cloth has a very long tag on it."
  • "Also, there is a huge tag on these, so don’t expect to use these on your car."
  • "They seem to pick up dust effectively without scratching or lint."
  • "Probably good for most microfiber type cleaning tasks, but I bought these to clean glass and they leave behind lots of sparkly lint which makes them no good for this task."
  • "They seem a little small and not the softest ones I have used."
  • "These microfiber cleaning cloths are super soft, yet durable, and don't leave lint like some cleaning cloths."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "If you are looking into reducing paper towel use or want a useful tool to get things cleaned, then I highly recommend the AmazonBasics Microfiber Cloths!"
  • "The Quickies available on Amazon or Kirkland microfibers from Costco are a much better value."
  • "These are great cleaning cloths. They are heavyweight, but just the right weight. The best part is I wash them in hot water and throw them in the dryer and they do not shrink of lose their square shape."
  • "Best deal on Amazon and I looked around a LOT so you don't have to!"
  • "This is a phenomenal deal. At this price, you cannot go wrong."
  • "They aren't the most absorbent or softest ones out there but they will do almost every job that those cloths will do at a much lower price."
  • "But at the price and the amount you get these are a great bargain."
