Zipper Quality

Pros:

  • "The cotton is a nice weight and texture. The zipper that closes at the bottom is super convenient for diaper changes."
  • "I like the sturdy zipper that will not break easy. You can buy this big and it will still work great and they can grow into it which means longer use!"

Cons:

  • "The biggest problem is the zipper will pull apart and I have to try and get the zipper together about 5 times before it will stay put."
  • "The zipper zips from top to bottom for ease of diaper changes, but when my daughter wanted to chew on the hem of the neckline, she was easily able to separate the zipper at the top."
  • "However, the zipper on the one I received was problematic from the start and after a few uses started unzipping from the other end."
  • "Very good design, comfortable, but while closing the zip (on top) the thing around the zip was very sharp."
  • "The sleep sack is good. Comfy, soft, keeps baby warm at night safely. The only issue is that the zipper starts at the head and zips towards the feet."
  • "Occasionally the zipper will peel open at the top when zipping on, which is my only complaint."
  • "However, the bottom open zipper is awful. It takes 2 hands to very coordinatedly connect the zipper by baby’s neck in order to zip it down to the feet to close."
  • "Material is just good, warm enough! However, I wish they used a better quality of zipper."

Material and Comfort

Pros:

  • "Love this quilted fabric, it keeps my son nice and warm."
  • "The sleep sack itself is soft and quilted, feels like a lightweight comforter, which was great for the slightly chillier nights."
  • "I have purchased this Burt's Bees sleep sack in each size as my child has grown. It is soft, comfy, and cute."
  • "The cotton is a nice weight and texture."
  • "This sleep sack is perfect! I felt like they were lightweight, but still soft to keep my baby warm!"
  • "First, the good-- the print is gorgeous, there is a lot of leg room, and the fabric is soft."
  • "Love the material and warmth level and softness!"
  • "I was worried about the thickness, not wanting it to be too hot or too cold. This week, every night has hit the negative digits, with chill warnings. Tonight it’s -8° F, in Colorado. I put my son in this Beekeeper, over a pair of fleece pajamas, and it feels perfect."

Cons:

  • "I found the quilted one to be a little too heavy for her, so the regular/light one is perfect with a jammy underneath."
  • "I originally bought this product for my baby in a large size. The large size is way bigger than I thought it would be and the particular style we bought was not quilted."
  • "I have tried brands like Kyte and they are extremely soft but after a few washes, you can definitely start to see the change in the fabric."
