Fit and Size

Pros:

  • "They fit him so well and he loves them so much."
  • "They felt durable for booties and a good quality too."
  • "They have held up through many washes and have the grippers on the bottom, now that he's walking, so he won't slip."
  • "There's some leeway with sizing, with the straps, too. He'll be able to fit these for a while, without them being too large, now."
  • "They fit a little big on my 17 mo old, but they still were wearable, stayed on, and she didn’t take them off, so they must feel good too."
  • "Purchased Navy 6-12 mths...perfect with growth room."
  • "The 0-6 month for her great with room to grow, she’s going on 4 months now and they still fit with some room to grow."

Cons:

  • "First, after 2 washes the material is not nearly as soft as when I bought them."
  • "They are a great value but not for long term wear, and certainly not to be passed down to a sibling."
  • "After just a couple of months the Velcro has worn significantly and is no longer secure."
  • "However, my baby can slip them right of in a matter of seconds."
  • "The grips on the bottom are thin and don't provide a whole lot of traction."
  • "They also collect lint."
  • "These are a little difficult to get on the foot. I bought 6-12 month size but there doesn’t seem to be much growing room for my 6 month old."

Design and Aesthetics

Pros:

  • "Love the color combo!!"
  • "Plus the design is super cute and perfect for the upcoming holiday to match her Christmas jammies."
  • "So easy to slip on baby to wear around the house or out and about - and they're so fricken cute!"
  • "The little cute design was a must."
  • "They are ridiculously cute and cozy."
  • "We always get compliments on his boots! They’re just so cute!"
  • "These are the cutest lil booties for my 6 mo old, they stay on with the velcro, my LO can not get these off her feet like other baby shoes or boots so no longer missing a shoe."

Cons:

  • "I love these slippers (second pair for my little guy) but this pair was sewn together poorly."
  • "Unfortunately, one of my monkeys is missing an ear and the other one is dirty and has a string hanging from it."
  • "This particular pair the tulle on the unicorn sometimes gets in the way when strapping on the bootie."
  • "I am disappointed the size was so off after such great fits in the past."
  • "But the biggest issue is that it stopped being non-slip in less then a week."
  • "They’re too big on my 2 year old which I expected but the reason I’m giving only two stars is because the grippers have already started peeling off."
  • "I purchased these two months ago for my daughter, but she's barely worn them because the fit is off."

Functionality and Usability

Pros:

  • "They have little rubber grips on the bottom so they aren’t slippery when walking."
  • "On the bottom part of the boot, it has a griper type design so if he ends up wanting down on a hardwood floor at home, he can easily grip the floor and not slide to hurt him self."
  • "They have Velcro so they're very hard for him to remove."
  • "These open wide and slip right over."
  • "Having the velcro closure helps to secure it once on."
  • "Perfect cold weather bootie for a little one that won’t keep socks on."
  • "The rubber grippers on the bottom provide just enough traction to help him not slip and slide all over our hardwood floors."

Cons:

  • "BUT they are NOT skid resistant. We have hard wood floors and poor guy is slipping everywhere!"
  • "Not good for walking outside but for errands, daycare and running around the house they are perfect!"
  • "The only downside is that I wouldn’t wear them on wet ground because the material would absorb the wetness."
  • "The only downfall that I have is that there is no slip guard on the bottom of it."
  • "There is some rubber on the bottom to help with slipping for those standing/walking babies, but depending on how your child is balancing in them, they could also be slippery on wood or smooth tile surfaces...just keep your eyes open on this."
  • "My son's feet slip a bit now that he's begun moving around in a walker."
  • "I'm not sure if they'd keep his feet warm for an extended period of time outside in the cold."
