Durability

Pros:

  • "My last pack lasted me 3 years wearing boots everyday."
  • "The foot beds are okay, the tops of the socks are very thin and tight and they will roll down."
  • "The socks fit perfectly, not too tight and they do not stretch out when you try to put them on."
  • "They have a thick sole that adds cushion, but not too thick — not so thick that it makes the shoes tight."
  • "They stay up on my leg fine and are not too tight."
  • "They are warm and comfortable."
  • "I had some Nike socks I really liked but didn't want to spend that money for socks anymore so I tried these."
  • "I have purchased Hanes women's socks numerous times over the years and usually a 10 pack of socks will last me for a year or more before I have to replenish."

Cons:

  • "They get holes VERY EASILY!!!!!!!"
  • "I have to keep replacing these socks though… half of my socks already have holes after one or two wears and washes."
  • "I've worn this sock for years. They last two packages I've bought have been much thinner than in past and have gotten holes in the heels after a couple of wears."
  • "Very thin, I could see the pink of my foot through the bottom when I put them on new."
  • "These socks are much thinner than they used to be. And by thin, I mean practically shear once you but them on."
  • "Each pair of socks will last me for a year or more before I have to replenish. I purchase these on December 31st and within a month every single sock had holes in the heels."
  • "They are relatively cheap so the 5 or 6 wears I get out of a pair isn't all that bad."
  • "They just won't last as long as other, better made socks."

Comfort

Pros:

  • "They are warm and soft and really, the only socks that I want to wear anymore."
  • "I am so pleased and happy with my purchase of the Hanes socks, and I just hope that they last as long as the ones with holey heels and holey toes that I had to throw away."
  • "I wear a size 7 1/2 US. These socks say they cover from sizes 5-9 US. I would go up a size if you're toward the end of that size range. They were almost tight on my feet."
  • "I really love these socks, but they are thin, rough, and cheaply made with too much spandex."
  • "I went with the large size since it says shoe sizes 8-12. They are much too large, and the grey heel went all the to my upper ankle."
  • "These socks fit perfectly and I haven't experienced any problems with the actual sock stretching to the point where it has become bigger."
  • "These socks are comfortable and really soft."
  • "They are soft and fit well."

Cons:

  • "I opened this package and was so disappointed. These socks are not anything I would ever wear."
  • "They are not soft at all against your toes and the part that goes up you ankle to your calf is pretty uncomfortable."
  • "I am a huge fan of Hanes socks. So glad I found these for when wearing sneakers and pants in the cooler weather. I dislike very thick socks, and these are thinner so don't take up too much space in my sneakers."
  • "Not the softest sucks I've owned, but are still fine socks."
  • "These crew socks are perfect. I’ve been looking for awhile & wasn’t sure if I wanted the short crew socks or the standard ones. I’m glad I went with these."
  • "They are not too thin, not too thick."
  • "They're good study socks so there's not much bad to say."
  • "These socks are not the same as I have previously worn."
