Weight and Portability

Pros:

  • "Very lightweight and kept us dry for the most part."
  • "They are very lightweight, and fit easily in a small backpack."
  • "These raincoats were easy to clean and maintain; they are of good quality and lightweight enough to not be burdensome."
  • "Roomy enough so that I could wear a small backpack under it."
  • "These work great for a trip. Very thin package and doesn’t take up room in a suitcase. They are thick and sturdy to wear in a storm."
  • "They are very compactable, so it's easy to take them with you."
  • "Very lightweight and super easy to squish into my bag without taking up too much room."

Cons:

  • "The rain coat is not made of one solid piece of plastic. It has many tiny holes in it. Would not recommend for purchase."
  • "Second rain coat came with a hole in the back."
  • "A photo shows a man wearing a backpack and wearing the rain coat so that it goes over the backpack. That photo is misleading."
  • "The package was pretty bulky for travel. I was unable to fit raincoat in my backpack with my other supplies, which was why I bought it."
  • "The buttons pull off the plastic when you undo them (even when be careful)."
  • "The raincoat is too small to cover even a small daypack."
  • "This was too small, and the buttons ripped. It certainly could not fit a backpack underneath."

Fit and Comfort

Pros:

  • "It is comfortable to wear with well fitting sleeves."
  • "Fits perfectly over my winter coat."
  • "I liked the longer length to keep my legs covered while sitting."
  • "Perfect fit and very comfortable."
  • "They fit me very nice and snug."
  • "Big enough to cover several layers of clothes underneath."
  • "Would fit a wide range of body types."

Cons:

  • "The hood could be bigger but there is one. I don't like that the hood is pointy."
  • "Only wish that hood was longer and bigger."
  • "I feel the coats do run a bit small according to the size charts."
  • "Liked everything about this rain coat but I have wide hips and it didn't fasten at the bottom."
  • "I am a large and had on a t-shirt w/a sweatshirt and leggings and could not snap it closed!"
  • "The only thing is when it covers my backpack, it cannot go to my knees (maybe because I'm tall?) and my underwear may still get wet, plus not very easy to take off."
  • "NOT one size meets most... If you are tall or broad shoulders... DO NOT BUY."

Design and Durability

Pros:

  • "Great rain coats. They were lightweight, yet durable."
  • "This rain coat is durable, and kept me totally dry during a nasty multi-hour downpour."
  • "Even with that said, it hasn't torn and appears to be holding up well."
  • "The raincoat material is thicker than usual on ponchos so it does not rip easily."
  • "Held up well."
  • "They are well made and durable."
  • "The material is soft and yet feels durable - not like the disposable ponchos which we have tried."

Cons:

  • "It’s also very sticky material, but it was hot out so maybe that effected it, it basically stuck to your arms."
  • "I wouldn't say its better since the material is thin & I'm not sure how it holds up wear & tear."
  • "This is a nice value for money, if you realize that they are not heavy duty."
  • "Literally the FIRST time wearing both of these, the elastic on the arms broke."
  • "Husband opened the package a little too eagerly and easily tore a hole in one of them."
  • "The material isn't great (think plastic table cloth)."
  • "I do feel they rip easily though."
