Durability

Pros:

  • "I love these gloves very strong last very long the whole day working and automotive shop."
  • "They're very durable and comfortable as well."
  • "These are tough gloves."
  • "I use these daily in our shop doing everything from heavy mechanical work to cleaning with chemicals and I have yet to find a set of gloves that work as well as these do."
  • "With these gloves I have no problem sliding them right on and not only do they not rip, I frequently use the same pair of gloves 10+ times without any rips."
  • "These gloves let me work hard all day and I haven't torn a pair yet!"
  • "These gloves are way more resilient to tears than others on the market."

Cons:

  • "Considering its thickness it tears easily."
  • "While the thickness of the glove is great, any snag or tight pull on a corner will rip right through them."
  • "These gloves are not the same quality as they were in the past."
  • "The second box, however, was a box full of a bad batch or something because each glove didn’t last for more then an hour before ripping in the exact same spot each time between the thumb and index finger without fail."
  • "Every glove only lasts a few movements of the hands."
  • "They wear out and rip much faster than previous gloveworks gloves."
  • "Most rip when trying to pull them on my hand."

Fit and Comfort

Pros:

  • "They are comfortable and durable for the most part."
  • "Great price on a box of thick, textured glove."
  • "Whatever size you are these gloves fit nice and tight."
  • "Nice form. Fit in the XL size. Fits normal sized hands that are slightly larger than average."
  • "They fit snug, which is great so they don't slide down, but they're not overly tight."
  • "They fit well (I buy XL)."
  • "Purchased in XL and fit as expected."

Cons:

  • "With my latest box the sizing was much smaller, to the point where I can barely get them on."
  • "Received 100-count box of size L today... Could barely get one glove on because they are too small."
  • "The fit of these gloves is very confusing, as the fingers and palm are loose and yet the wrist cuff is nearly impossible to get off."
  • "Got a large set and tried one on, well attempted... the wrist opening is way to small."
  • "They are extremely tight and very short."
  • "I normally wear size large gloves, and these were too tight."
  • "The size runs a bit small (reference item size L, felt more like a medium)."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Very economical when you look at being able to use them multiple times."
  • "I am able to reuse them like a plate glove - so I can get more bang for the cost."
  • "These cost more than most of the gloves out there but they are worth it! I have reused several pairs because of their durability!"
  • "To me these gloves are absolutely worth $24 because you can use them over and over they are fantastic and only a little more expensive than the gloves I was buying that would rip quite easily and did not fit well at the finger tips."
  • "These were way cheaper and super durable."
  • "Good value."
  • "They're so durable, one box will last me over a year!"

Cons:

  • "I dislike the pandemic pricing."
  • "I paid $42 for this box of 100. A Shame they shot the price up so much."
  • "The gloves are good but overpriced."
  • "Have bought these in the past and were ok then they tried to double the price and I didn't buy more. Now the last purchase they dropped the price closer to my original purchases however the quality is terrible !!!"
  • "Another reason is the gloves are on the expensive side."
  • "Price and quality are incomparable, with such quality these gloves should cost three times cheaper."
  • "I bought them for $12.45 and they have doubled in price for size small."

Texture and Grip

Pros:

  • "Like the texture, good for gripping."
  • "There is a good amount elasticity I can put my hands in with no problem but still tight enough it's secure."
  • "These gloves are perfect for jobs where you need a good grip."
  • "The texturing provides more grip if you're working in water or grease and oil."
  • "The textured fingers and palm gives a good grip, and the extra thickness over regular nitrile gloves make them safer to use in high risk tasks."
  • "Much better grip with the beaded texture."
  • "They have textured grip that is extremely helpful, especially when the gloves are wet."

Cons:

  • "They are definitely not 8 millimeters thick, they have many very thin spots that tear easily."
  • "They tend to rip along the knurling pattern."
  • "I dont find this texture helpful - they slip as much as any other nitrile glove and it is a weak point for tears to start."
  • "But they rip 75% of the time with just a small amount of pulling on the cuff and then the glove rips in half and its junk."
  • "These may be good for making donuts or something, but they're just useless in the garage/shop."
  • "The thumb is very short and adds to the problem."
  • "Very unreliable gloves! They tear even on a short male nail."
