Durability and Longevity

Pros:

  • "Durable sandpaper disks! I work on vintage wooden furniture and these disks work great! Reliable and last a long time, multiple uses."
  • "I have used several of the different grits so far and they seem to be relatively durable, especially for the price point and quantity of disks."
  • "I have used several of these and they last as well, if not hold up better, as the Diablo brand from the Orange store."
  • "What surprised how much stronger the backing is compared to what we have been using from lowes. Much stronger and durable than expected and compared ro what we have been using at half the price."
  • "The backing seems decently thick and the sand holds up well."
  • "These sanding disks last a long time i use compressed air to remove what stays on the pad."
  • "The discs removed the layers quickly, the discs remained firmly attached to the hook and loop pad and the discs lasted longer than other discs I have used."

Cons:

  • "The problem that I had was with the disc often flying off the pad."
  • "These pads fall off the sander before the grit is shot so you only get maybe 1/2 the use out of the pad that you do from a better quality pad."
  • "Seem to wear out a bit faster then other brands I've tried, but at less then 1/2 the price they are still well worth the money."
  • "These discs offer mediocre longevity at best."
  • "As for longevity, the sandpaper disc won't stay on the sander."
  • "These discs seem to be short lived and loose the grit fast making them cut much less in a short time of sanding."
  • "They also wear extremely fast."

Adhesion and Compatibility

Pros:

  • "They stuck quite well to my sander and had very little trouble with clogging."
  • "They adhere great."
  • "They align quickly with the sanders' vacuum system and lock down aggressively with the hook and loops system."
  • "These sanding disks are made to proper specifications, fitting my disk sander with proper hole overall and reaching the edges on all sides."
  • "These sanding discs fit the DeWalt sander very well, the holes match up."
  • "These discs have 8 holes that align perfectly with my DeWalt orbital sander."
  • "These line up perfect with the 8 holes and use high quality hook and loop."

Cons:

  • "The grit side isn't bad and when you get a good one, they work well, but the hook and loop side on made of these disks barely holds on."
  • "These are bed. Delayed on my project so can’t return them, but I would have. They don’t adhere to orbital sanders and are useless."
  • "The hook and loop sanding discs didn’t stay attached until they were worn out."
  • "The discs barely cover the entire surface of the sander. After using it for a while, the disc starts to shift."
  • "The hook and loop on these discs is useless, the discs will not stay attached to the sander."
  • "The backing of the disc shreds after one use. Leaving the backing stuck in the loops of the sander."
  • "Using these on a random orbital sander they sail across the room like a frisbee."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "These are very affordable compared to big box stores."
  • "They are nearly half the price as well."
  • "On the plus side, you get lots of discs for not a whole lot of cash."
  • "I go through a lot of sanding discs every week. HD was getting quite expensive for a fraction of the amount you get in this pack. The discs last just as long as the big box store's does and I will continue to buy from this seller."
  • "For this price, I expected them to fall apart. These disc are tough, long lasting quality sanding disc!"
  • "Does not last as long as Norton or 3m but it's price blows those brands out of the water."
  • "These boxes of 100 are much more cost effect than the store brands as well."

Cons:

  • "I thought I’d save a bit of money, but ended up spending twice as much time changing pads."
  • "We use a massive amount of sandpaper in our shop so I was hoping to save some money with this brand. Disappointed, we go through 5 discs of these in the same time we go through 1 of our other brand."
  • "Good price but you’ll rip through these because the edges will shred."
  • "Sure, they're cheap, they don't last long, but overall the value is better than the expensive brands."
  • "These just don’t last or cut good at all."
  • "They do not last as long as I expected but the box comes with so many that it is worth it."
  • "We sand decks before staining them. These pads have to be changed every few minutes."
