Flavor

Pros:

  • "Great flavor, like the fact that it's in plastic instead of breakable Glass."
  • "It gives it a mild Carmel flavour without taking away the coffee taste."
  • "These give great flavor to cold drinks and hot cereals."
  • "The BEST sweetener I have found for caramel machiatos!"
  • "This stuff adds such delicious flavor to my coffee, and a little bit goes a long way!"
  • "This caramel stevia flavor is quite delicious when added to teas, coffee, hot cereal, deserts, etc."
  • "Absolutely delicious. I am on a low carb/zero sugar program. Was hooked on the Dunkin vanilla cupcake and caramel syrups, this replaces them."

Cons:

  • "It’s so expensive, it’s a tiny bottle. I wouldn’t mind if it was good... But this was terrible."
  • "Just received it and had a cup of coffee, takes so much to get any flavor out of it, I do not recommend it for coffee."
  • "It smells like caramel, but the flavor was not up to par."
  • "Vile, bitter and nasty. Nothing like caramel."
  • "This had no caramel flavor to me and had a strong artificial taste."
  • "It's simply a sweetner...it has no caramel taste at all...if anything, a bit of a chemical taste that just stevia wouldn't have."
  • "After getting my hopes up for a replacement to McDonalds chocolate syrup for coffee that is sugar free, I find myself extremely disappointed... tastes like chemicals."

Packaging

Pros:

  • "The bottle is plastic which is good in case you drop it, it dont break because some come in a glass bottle."
  • "Love that I can stick this in my purse and am always prepared for a coffee or tea on the run."
  • "I liked that this was a travel size and top for my husband to take to work."
  • "Very convenient little container too."
  • "Perfect for travelling or camping."
  • "I like the sweetness and flavors for my coffee but the shrink wrap plastic is almost impossible to remove to use the product."
  • "I love Pure Inventions Coconut Enhancer because it tastes like coconut water and it isn't sweet however, shelling out $20 per 1oz bottle was ridiculous to me compared to this bottle at $4."

Cons:

  • "Like most Sweetleaf stevias, this flavor is excellent, but the brand's 'exciting new packaging' that they've been raving about destroys an otherwise good product."
  • "It is not the same as the glass bottle...doesn't taste the same nor does it last as long."
  • "These drops arrived without a seal, on the outside or the inside. I was concerned with safety issues, and discarded them."
  • "New container too small! Last time I bought this it was a glass bottle with a nice dropper for measuring. Now it's a chap small plastic container."
  • "I'm not a fan of the packaging, and the bottle didn't seem full."
  • "This is not the glass bottle with dropper as shown."
  • "I also don't like the fact that the picture showed the glass bottle, but I received plastic and no indication of it being BPA free."

Sweetness

Pros:

  • "I am diabetic and this stevia product keeps me satisfied & sugar free!"
  • "Yum! Great Fake Out! I put a few drops of this in my Calistoga water, and boom! I had a cream soda with no calories and now poisonous sweeteners!"
  • "This product is great for losing weight and it taste great! Like actual real vanilla."
  • "I love these sweet drops!! I became a diabetic a few years ago and am carb counting for my insulin dosage."
  • "It is what it says, sweeeeeeet drops! It won’t disappoint if you have a sweet tooth."
  • "Great tasting and no calories!"
  • "One squirt and it makes my KETO Coffee taste great."

Cons:

  • "If you're here for a sweet treat for your Keto diet, turn away -- this thing has vegetable glycerin and the ingredients/nutrition facts are different in the photos and on the bottle itself."
  • "These have a good flavor that is until you get hit with the huge gross after taste of fake sugar."
  • "I was so excited to see a stevia flavoring/syrup add in that I could pump into my coffee or smoothie but this stuff is so syrupy, sickly sweet that anything I put it in was ruined!"
  • "Be warned though, it is pretty sweet."
  • "This taste like all other sugar substitutes to me. There’s a lingering after taste."
  • "Had big hopes but it was way too sweet and had artificial after taste."
  • "The coconut flavor is overshadowed by a chemical after taste."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Best part is the price."
  • "Price was excellent, so gave a try."
  • "Great price too."
  • "I'm glad I found it on Amazon for $2.62 which is the same price at stores like Safeway."

Cons:

  • "It’s so expensive, it’s a tiny bottle. I wouldn’t mind if it was good... But this was terrible."
  • "Tiny bottle is very expensive and it won't last very long. Will not buy this again."
  • "However, very little product for the money. I get more from the Sweetleaf glass droppers."
  • "For the amount you get in the bottle, with everyday use, this will last less than a month."
  • "Bottom line is that there is NOT a lot of product for your money with this sweetener."
  • "Seems pretty expensive. I'll probably stick with the packets."
  • "After getting my hopes up for a replacement to McDonalds chocolate syrup for coffee that is sugar free, I find myself extremely disappointed... tastes like chemicals."
