Texture and Application

Pros:

  • "It spreads like silk on your face - it's truly amazing."
  • "As soon as I put this sunscreen on, it was like butter."
  • "This goes on nicely and makes my skin feel smooth and matte, while moisturizing at the same time."
  • "I am VERY pleased to FINALLY have found a sunscreen/moisturizer combo that goes on smoothly with a completely NON-greasy, matte finish!"
  • "It's lightweight, doesn't smell, doesn't leave a white cast, and doesn't make my skin oily."
  • "It blends in so smoothly, my face feels super soft after applying."
  • "It goes on like velvet!!"

Cons:

  • "It would make my skin oily and over time I started to notice it was getting dryer."
  • "However, it's drying my face out."
  • "Very drying and leaves white cast no matter how you apply it (with moisturizer, pat on, light application, etc). Broke my skin out after several days of use."
  • "But ten minutes later my face was red and itchy:(( and the following day, I was greeted by some fellow pimples:/"
  • "it turns into little balls on your skin!"
  • "VERY pricey for the amount you get, a mousse-type formula that requires quite a bit just to cover."
  • "This feels good going on and I really wanted to likes it, but my face gets dry and flaky within 5 minutes of applying this, even if i ise a moisturizer before and after."

Tint and Color

Pros:

  • "Because it is tinted I use it every day at work instead of makeup (makeup was causing me more problems so I'm glad I can ditch the foundation on regular days)."
  • "It's tinted, so it won't make your face ghostly white."
  • "The tint I think would match any skin tone and it’s light weight and not greasy."
  • "The tint is perfect for my fair complexion in the winter and evens my skin out in the summer."
  • "The tint doesn't add a lot of coverage/color, but it provides a nice blurring effect and helps to even out skin tone."
  • "I'd LOVE for it to be in a darker tint so that I can wear it more often when I have a darker tan."
  • "The tint looks like it's for a darker skin tone, but when you put it on, it blends right into your skin tone, and I am very fair."

Cons:

  • "The consistency of this is similar to super goop's tinted sunscreen (which I like) but with a higher SPF. I was hoping to take advantage of the higher SPF and better ingredient list here, but it's far too orange for my fair skin."
  • "The tint makes my skin look chalky, so I don’t wear it."
  • "The tint on this was too dark for me."
  • "Not for fair skin as the tint is brown as shown in other reviewers photos."
  • "I get that this is tinted but I really really wish 'tinted' sunscreens would think of the pale ppl out there."
  • "The tint in this product is the wrong shade for me."
  • "And worst of all it is too yellow! I have very pale, cool toned skin and it leaves a yellow cast."

Price and Value

Pros:

  • "This is a small bottle on the pricier side but it seriously lasts forever."
  • "You only need a small amount so the bottle size is worth the price."
  • "It's pricey but a little goes a long way and it's totally worth it to protect your face."
  • "The price point threw me off at first, but considering how long I've been using it, I think it's worth the cost."
  • "It is a little pricey, but you don't need very much each morning and I am nowhere close to running out after weeks of use every day."
  • "Its expensive, but lasts a long time if you are just using on your face."
  • "Every woman should have this on their face every day. The sun is not your friend and this sunscreen is silky and going on great under my make-up."

Cons:

  • "Also it’s very expensive for such a little tube."
  • "This stuff is outrageously expensive. I really can't understand why."
  • "The only drawback is that this product can be pricey."
  • "It is pricey, and the tube doesn't hold that much, especially if you're planning on using it daily on your face and neck."
  • "Four stars due to the price. It's super expensive, otherwise it would have been five stars."
  • "What I'm not so thrilled about it is the amount of product for the price."
  • "Not worth the money anymore."

Skin Sensitivity and Reaction

Pros:

  • "Used this for a few years on and off. It was first bought in my doc's office. I have very sensitive, light skin battling rosacea."
  • "My skin is very sensitive and has been reactive to other sunscreens, but not this one."
  • "Great for very sensitive skin."
  • "It is great on my sensitive skin-so many sunscreens sting especially if I reapply it later in the day."
  • "Perfect sunscreen. I have sensitive skin prone to redness."
  • "I have very sensitive skin and this is the only sunblock I can put on my face without making it break out."
  • "I have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to many skin products."
