Performance

Pros:

  • "This unit works as well as the $150.00 models and comes with a fair amount of tips."
  • "This one comes with plenty of attachments and is easy to use and clean."
  • "I replaced my water pick that stopped working with this. Looked the same but more affordable. Has held up well."
  • "I have a few crowns that have separated from my gums and i am always getting food stuck: this water pik is EXCELLENT!"
  • "Comes with more tips, etc., and cost a third less. Highly recommend this product."
  • "Buy this one! Turwell is an excellent water flosser."
  • "Purchased to manage periodontal disease and deep gum pockets. This works very well to get food particles that brushing and flossing can't reach."

Cons:

  • "Works well on teeth but SO much water was leaking out of where the water cable goes into the handheld device."
  • "The caveat is that even at max speed/power, the pressure is still slightly lower than I prefer."
  • "So it finally stopped working in almost exactly a year, with the water leaking out of the wand around the center."
  • "Didn’t work well. Every time I used it water got EVERYWHERE!"
  • "The fine pointed rubber tipped tool was created to long to fit in the storage compartment at the top."
  • "The long hose that connects the pik broke from the inside of the pik after about two days and it now leaks."
  • "The on/off slider button on the wand stopped working after only a couple weeks, rendering it useless."

Design and Build Quality

Pros:

  • "Lots of nozzles, including a spin-brush and tongue cleaner. Nice for a low-cost unit."
  • "I like the water flosser's suction cups on bottom. It really holds it in place."
  • "It's a lighter plastic (not as heavy duty or stable an appliance), doesn't have the power or the good grade pop in tips but again, for half the price and a spare it works."
  • "This thing is insanely powerful. Do not turn it up past 2 or 3!!"
  • "It's easy to use, he's able to clean the entire mouth and every space between brackets and teeth."
  • "Now that I'm using this I can't stop. It's amazing. I'll brush my teeth then use it right after. I get a ton of stuff out from in between my teeth."
  • "A great upgrade. I can tell the difference when I use it."

Cons:

  • "Third, there is no on-off switch, one has to turn the water pressure to 0 to turn it off."
  • "Controls are goofy / don't work well."
  • "Feeling that I definitely should have spent the extra to get the Water Pik brand."
  • "I saw this and thought it can't be that bad for the price. There has to be value. The device is completely not usable."
  • "Guess you get what you pay for."
  • "The second day it didn't work at all."
  • "Turewelll wanted to charge me a restocking fee. That did NOT sit well with me."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "Never liked the high prices of the water pics; didn't know there was an alternative. This one's works just as well and is half to a third the price."
  • "Looks nice. Easy to fill. Not super loud. Easy to clean."
  • "Trying to get my kids to have a better oral health routine. This pick has made a world of difference. Works perfectly and love all the different attachment pics."
  • "It's probably perfect for kids just learning how to use a waterpik but for adults who use them daily I don't recommend."
  • "This thing has no power."
  • "The water flosser started making a loud noise and the cord to the toothbrush jumped around a lot."
  • "I was pleasantly surprised that it has a whole slew of different heads including brushes, as well as two streamer heads."

Cons:

  • "The two year product malfunction warranty states costs and service fees shall be charged based on circumstances."
  • "Mine slows dows at the top setting, I have to adjust the dial for full pressure."
  • "I bought a Water Pik and I think I could spit with more force than it had."
  • "Very awkward design. the on/off switch did not work well."
  • "It cuts in and out the whole time while using it."
  • "This shot out a fast skinny stream of water that literally sliced through my gums."
  • "Ok- my $65 water pik broke down after a couple of years so when looking for a replacement I saw the Turwell version was like $25 cheaper so I figured I would go for the savings. That was a mistake."
