Glove Fit and Size

  • "It fits my almost-five-year-old well, and I think he'll be able to use it at least one more year."
  • "It fits my grandsons hand really well."
  • "Fits my 5 year old perfectly!"
  • "Fit my little perfect!"
  • "It fits him well, and he can probably use it next year too."

Cons:

  • "He has trouble using the glove, so we are mainly practicing with the ball right now."
  • "Small hands may have difficulty fully closing the glove."
  • "Glove is smaller than I anticipated."
  • "I don't know if my four year old son's hand is small or if this glove is a little big, but it doesn't quite fit him yet."
  • "This glove barely fits him."
  • "It's a little big for a four year old but for a first glove it will work great."
  • "I purchased this for my 2 1/2 yr old nephew... It's a big stretch for such a little hand."

Glove Quality and Material

Pros:

  • "Great glove for the price!"
  • "The glove is of nice quality, stitching and all."
  • "It is a really solid glove and it came with a ball so for the price it's an overall good deal."
  • "The glove seems to be made well and should last at least a couple of tee ball seasons."
  • "The quality is really much better than I anticipated, this will be a great hand-me-down once our son grows out of it."
  • "It’s durable and great quality as well."
  • "This is a decent glove. It is made of rubber (not leather). It seems to be well made."

Cons:

  • "After a season of Fall Ball, the glove is starting to tear a little bit and the seams are coming loose."
  • "Not great quality here with the faux leather but it's fine for kids."
  • "The only weak spot I noticed was the webbing, the 'leather' there is a little thin."
  • "After a couple of months the glove is beginning to become unstitched."
  • "Very disappointed with this. I bought it for my son and it started falling apart at the laces, could not be repaired."
  • "The leather(?) is pretty good, though the stitching seems a bit haphazard."
  • "Lower quality but for the price it was to be expected."

Ball Quality and Design

Pros:

  • "The ball is soft enough not to injure him if hit by it yet it has the feel of a regulation style baseball."
  • "The ball is also perfect for him."
  • "The accompanying soft ball was good for practicing."
  • "The ball that comes with it is solid, but made of a rubber,..so it's more forgiving than a baseball."
  • "Addition of the solid-but-soft ball is really nice, close to using a real baseball but won't hurt as bad if you get beaned."
  • "The 'soft' ball is especially good. It is sized and looks like a real baseball but it is soft enough not to hurt when it hits a child when playing catch or batting."
  • "The ball is also a great balance between a hard ball and a foam ball, excellent for early learners."

Cons:

  • "The only downfall is the ball isn't a real ball that would ever be used! It's almost like a foam ball."
  • "The ball is also not hard. Very squishy so it very easy for him to pick up and hold in the glove."
  • "The ball is a soft ball that isn't going to hold up to bats very long."
  • "The ball that comes with it is so light that a little wind will catch it."
  • "The ball that comes with it fairly useless. It is just too light."
  • "Got the glove today in the mail and it’s supposed to come with a ball instead it comes with a plastic bag of I’m not even sure what is inside it!"
  • "My only complaint is that it did not come with a ball like it stated in the product description."
