Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "They fit well and are very absorbent. I think when there is leaking that's usually my fault for wrapping his booty incorrectly."
  • "These fit way smaller than any other newborn diaper. They are not very stretchy either."
  • "I switched to these after cloth diapers were giving my baby endless diaper rash. They stay on well even though she is really wiggly and I like that they don't have chemicals in them."
  • "Pampers Pure are great. The flaps to secure the diaper have not been an issue, Pampers Pure worked for us."

Cons:

  • "I wanted to like these but after using coterie diapers nothing really compares. They are softer than other brands and are very absorbent. I keep a pack or two of these as back up but I’ll be sticking with Coterie for now."
  • "These diapers are not heavy when full nor do they turn a funny color when wet. I love that they are soft and lightweight. I don’t think they do the best at being long lasting like for the night depending on what position the baby sleeps in."
  • "Despite the fact that the description as well as the box say "unscented", these diapers clearly have a scent to them."
  • "I only buy sensitive skin diapers because I prefer having less additional potentially irritating and unnecessary chemicals close to baby’s skin. These have served us really well even though we cloth diaper most of the time. I find them to be pretty absorbent (almost as good as regular Pampers for an overnight diaper. These just hold a little less before getting to max capacity)."

Absorbency and Leakage

Pros:

  • "I’ve used these for the past two years & they've never disappointed me! No rashes, excellence leak protection, comfortable than other types, no fragrant smell, no saggy bottom, & holds up really well for many hours."
  • "We have never had a leak from pee but we did have blowouts when she was breastfeeding. Now that she’s eating solid food we have not had any issues with blowouts. They’re very absorbent and our baby’s skin is always dry, even after sleeping for 12 hours in a row."
  • "These really helped with a sudden bad rash after sizing up to Huggies 3. However, if I'm not careful enough (or if he's too squirmy, which is all the time now), it will sometimes leak at night even when the diaper isn't full."
  • "I did a lot of research on a ton of diapers before going with any. I'm so glad that I went with these. My son has never had a rash or even been uncomfortable. It holds a ton of pee and holds poos well too."

Cons:

  • "These are good diapers, I just wish they were a little softer. They absorb really well. I did however noticed just slight redness on my four months old bum. I have to put Vaseline every time we change."
  • "These diapers work really well. While a little more expensive we have not had any of the diaper issues we’ve had with cheaper brands. We’ve had fewer rashes and less breaking of the little Velcro straps. It is amazing how much they can contain before leaking and so so without irritating skin—so much so I often wonder if I change the diaper too frequently."
  • "I wanted to like these I really did, especially since with my first I was an exclusive Huggies only mom and I was looking for something different and more organic approach with my 2nd, but there's just so much wrong with these diapers. Barely any leak protection."
  • "Be advised, these are NOT newborn size, they are size 1. I don't know why they're marketing them as newborn/1, as if those are the same thing, because they very much are not."
