Material Quality

Pros:

  • "They are cotton poly blend, with elastic. Should not be bleached. Did not shrink after multiple washes."
  • "The cotton is soft and the back panel is seamless, so comfort is pretty good."
  • "They are soft and comfortable. Already washed and dried according to instructions."
  • "Perfect as advertised for a good price. Woven fabric type well made and comfortable."
  • "Good quality, good design, low price."
  • "The quality of the shorts is impressive, and they're well-made with durable materials."
  • "The material is good, like a dress shirt material."

Cons:

  • "The shorts say Fruit of the Loom but are much thinner than my existing FOL shorts. Ok for the price but would not buy again."
  • "The first thing I noticed was how thin the material is on these boxers."
  • "These are disintegrating after two washes! Completely ripped seams."
  • "Material feels way too cheap and thin, it’s damn near see through."
  • "The cloth used is VERY thin. I'm not sure how many machine washings they will survive."
  • "These boxers are super thin, to the point of being practically see through."
  • "The material is so thin and cheaply made. When I took boxers out of package to wash they had rips in them."

Fit and Comfort

Pros:

  • "The fit is fine and the stitching is well done. They're quite comfortable and are a great value for the price."
  • "This is the first time that I have tried boxers and they are very comfortable."
  • "the boxers arrived just as expected, an old favorite that hadn't changed much, if at all."
  • "Perfect fit. Much more comfortable than briefs."
  • "They fit well, not tight at all. They are soft."
  • "These lightweight boxers fit well, the elastic waist isn't binding and they feel soft."
  • "They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable."

Cons:

  • "I ordered the right size based off the sizing chart but the waistband cuts into your skin and after sitting awhile it hurts for awhile."
  • "The fabric is thinner than expected, which is not a big deal. The main problem is the waist band is stiff and scratchy, even after laundering."
  • "The underwear fit too tight around my thighs, not leaving much room to move around."
  • "The Size large were listed at w36-38. I wear w34 pants and these size large I ordered were too tight at the waistband and felt a little too restricted for comfort and circulation."
  • "They were so thin that when I held them up I could see right through them."
  • "I feel like there is absolutely no room for movement, waistline, or space for everything else."
  • "The band is uncomfortable and it rubs against my skin irritating it."

Value for Money

Pros:

  • "I'd say these are great value after 4-6 months wear."
  • "Lightweight, breezy, and unrestrictive, this 5-pack of boxer briefs manufactured by Fruit of the Loom in Vietnam is a relative bargain compared to other boxer brief multi-packs."
  • "They should last for a very long time wash after wash."
  • "For the price, these boxers are a good deal."
  • "You can buy this pack for less than the price of one of pair from a bigger brand."
  • "A good deal at 3 & 1/2 per piece."
  • "Considering that these mens' boxers are quite a bit less than what you'd find at a department store (Macy's, Kohls, etc), I will say that these are a fairly good value."

Cons:

  • "This product is exactly as advertised. But, a little disappointed in the spiraling pricing, as I have used them for years."
  • "Don't buy this product if you want to spend more money in about six months time."
  • "Will not be buying these again."
  • "They were overpriced but everything nowadays has gone up in price."
  • "Won't be buying them again, particularly as they were far too expensive in the first place."
  • "This is the most disappointing item from Fruit of the Loom. I'm really surprised at the lack of quality."
  • "I mean, you only paid that much for 6 pairs, that’s a good price, but cheap things always have some heat and there problems."
