Cons:

  • "They stretch out a bit after passed the year mark or so of hard work and going through laundry/drier cycles."
  • "However, the material is sort of rough and plastic like."
  • "The foot is pretty big that would fit a man better then a women."
  • "They also have a THICK SEAM at the toe so if your feet are hypersensitive as mine are, you might have to try wearing them inside-out to avoid the pressure."
  • "Within a month the soles on these socks started getting holes."
  • "They just aren't giving you the compression you'd want."

Design and Appearance

Pros:

  • "The designs are attractive."
  • "Great selection of patterns. Purchased S/M for myself; L/XL for my husb. Very comfortable."
  • "Colors and texture are perfect. Can’t tell they are compression sock."
  • "These socks come in a three pack of tan, brown and black."
  • "They also come in such pretty colors that if I'm going to be out running or walking a lot on errands I can wear them and match them up to my favorite leggings or jeans."
  • "Nice colors but these ones are made for men and women."
  • "When I stretch them over my calfs they do separate and you can see the white color in between the regular colors."

Cons:

  • "But it seems they tend to tear at the heel after about a dozen uses."
  • "The packaging for these particular socks is a large picture of 4 scantily dressed-very athletic dudes with “compression socks” in much less obvious print at the top of the package."
  • "Only problem is yarn ends are starting to poke through since they weren’t left long enough."
  • "I wish that they were more sheer so that they didn’t look like 'old lady' stockings."
  • "The socks pinch and severely hurt your toes."
  • "They fit me and seem to work but the color is not as pictured. They’re more of a cardboard color and match the Amazon box they came in more than the picture of product."
  • "Only took off a star because the argyle patterned ones have started to fray a bit from washing."

Compression and Support

Pros:

  • "They give my legs the energy and support I need for hard wood floors."
  • "I'm very pregnant. Was hoping these would help with swelling. Price is great, calf support is excellent. Took away 1 star because arch support could be better."
  • "I put them on in the morning and wear them most of the day. Then by the evening my legs feel lighter, aren't swollen and that's one less thing my body has to worry about during pregnancy."
  • "These socks are working quite well with keeping the swelling down on feet, ankles, & calves."
  • "The compression sock really help with both problems."
  • "These socks were the answer! They relieve the pain but I don't feel over constricted."
  • "These are comfortable and work well to aid circulation."

Cons:

  • "I have blisters on my toes after a 40 minute walk."
  • "Their pretty long and made more for a man's leg cause of bigger calfs then a women."
  • "Compression was not strong right off the bat."
  • "The material feels terrible on the skin and after all day use they leave terrible marks on your legs."
  • "After wearing them twice, there are two holes already."
  • "These aren’t as good as the ones the podiatrist will fit you for but almost."
  • "These are WAY too tight for me."

Durability and Quality

Pros:

  • "With three pair, I can alternate them. They should last long."
  • "I have been using them for a while now and there are still in great condition."
  • "They can survive the washer/dryer and cats in my house .. so definite 5 stars all around."
  • "They have held up and look the same as they did day one."
  • "They wore like iron. I loved them so much, I washed them in the shower and wore them every day."
  • "They stay up and do not sag."
  • "They are comfortable and sturdy."

Cons:

  • "But this time the material for the socks is thinner and it doesn't feel the same quality."
  • "The only issue was it was a little tight near the top and I’d get a ridge mark."
  • "These compression socks have lines across the bottom of the feet and they bothered my feet after wearing all day."
  • "The toe line can be difficult to center, and sometimes it takes me a moment to get the socks on correctly as they are very tight."
  • "These need to be longer, and have more graduation of compression so that fluids goes up the calf, not down to the ankle."
  • "They don't pick up any bad odor, which is an added bonus when working."
  • "But so far, they are comfortable."
