Comfort and Design

Pros:

  • "The color code on both the top and the bottom makes it easy to identify what color each pen is in."
  • "These are lightweight and have a nice fine tip."
  • "They're very thin to hold, so not ideal for young kids."
  • "I like the sleek look and minimalist quality to them."
  • "They are thin in circumference so sometimes can slip out of your hand but I love them."
  • "They’re nice and slim so don’t take up much room."
  • "The pen itself is very small around. Smaller around than a pencil and Much skinnier than most pens!"

Cons:

  • "Uncomfortable to grip if you write for more than 30 seconds."
  • "They are very narrow so if you like the feel of thick pens, these are not for you."
  • "The markers themselves are not easy to hold."
  • "These are not the best. They are so skinny they are hard for me to hold."
  • "The narrow body is not easy to hold for long term writing."
  • "They make my hand cramp up a bit when I use them for long periods."
  • "They write well but I found that the pen didn’t fit my hand well. The bottom is so skinny that I was having difficulty holding on to it."

Quality and Durability

Pros:

  • "They last very long, I use them daily with no sign of drying out."
  • "They are saturated, never smear, the perfect size, and last forever."
  • "I’ve been using them daily for almost a year and haven’t noticed any of the colors running low on ink yet."
  • "They’re good, long lasting, brightly colored pens that can hold up to coloring books, journals, notes and calendars without bleeding or staining through pages."
  • "They seems to last for forever."
  • "I have already been using them every day and they’re still going strong! For the price, these markers are amazing quality!!"
  • "Tips haven’t shredded with continual use, the way similar other pens would. Only used for a month so far but working very well."

Cons:

  • "One pen tip split almost immediately so was disappointing."
  • "Some of the tips did split. I used them heavily every day though and probably need to repurchase them as a few of them are now dead."
  • "The plastic feels cheap, as though anything more than light pressure would break them."
  • "4 pens dried out when received."
  • "The nibs on the pens begin to fray and split quickly, even with gentle use."
  • "The felt tip is cheap and rubbed off in chunks in the first use."
  • "The black and red pens were already split upon opening."

Ink and Writing Experience

Pros:

  • "The colors are vibrant and they write very smooth."
  • "They put out so much ink but if you write lightly you won't have an issue with bleeding through."
  • "Super pigmented and fine tipped."
  • "They write very clean and I love all the color options. They also work for my journal-style Bible and don’t bleed through."
  • "The colors are vibrant and they do write beautifully."
  • "These pens are so wonderful, the colours are bright, smudge free, and they are not visible from the other page."
  • "They write effortlessly and they do not bleed through to the other side of the page."

Cons:

  • "I probably wouldn’t write pages front & back with these b/c I think it bleeds just enough that you don’t want to use both sides of the paper."
  • "These pens are horribly dry!... everything but purple is dry and wont write."
  • "These are fine tip markers and their longevity is poor."
  • "They basically started to rip the paper with their weird wetness."
  • "Then the actual colors of these pens were so light some I could barely see."
  • "They leave a very heavy shadow. Not quite a bleed, but a very heavy shadow."
  • "On any type of paper, if you pause with your pen tip down as you think, or if you make bullet points, iBayam will DEFINITELY bleed to the other side of your paper."
