Volume Control

Pros:

  • "The slider volume control is pure genius."
  • "I love the volume control slider! It lets you fine-tune the volume to exactly where you like it."
  • "The volume control is a slider, why more ear buds don't do this I have no idea, it's much better than buttons."

Cons:

  • "I really don’t like the volume control- it’s just a slider."
  • "The volume control is a slider, not buttons. This means that you can't change the volume on your phone, it just adjusts the volume to your ears without changing anything on your phone."
  • "The volume control is on the part of the cord that splits into two for your ears. This makes a heavy part of the cord hang and get in the way since it is much closer to my head and my head happens to move a lot."
  • "Volume control slider is non-functional, it cuts the sound out or cuts out one or the other earbud."
  • "Passive volume control. Does not control the volume of my phone."
  • "The volume function is a slide button and it doesn't offer much leeway when adjusting the sound."

Sound Quality

Pros:

  • "The sound quality is good for my listening to books and music."
  • "The sound quality is very clear and the memory foam earbuds meld perfectly with my ear to create a comfortable listening experience."
  • "They really shine in the mids while producing nice, clear highs and deep lows."
  • "The sound quality is just great and really surprised me for that fact that I got these for only 14 bucks."
  • "The sound quality is good too, not too trebelly and not too heavy on bass. It sounds full and present."
  • "The sound quality is also great for the price."
  • "The sound quality is amazing the base on them is great."

Cons:

  • "Definitely the cheap quality stuff."
  • "I was disappointed with the sound quality. There was almost no bass sound coming through."
  • "There seems to be a bit of an uncomfortable suction in one of the earbuds, which hinders the sound quality just a bit, making it sound uneven."
  • "Sound is kinda tinny even when I turned the volume down."
  • "Using the foam tips already installed I was disappointed with the sound, a little tinny and not much base."
  • "Mids and highs seem overdone to try and offset for the lack of bass."
  • "Zero bass."

Comfort and Fit

Pros:

  • "These are comfortable! I couldn't believe how nice these fit and I haven't even put on the smaller size yet."
  • "The memory foam itself is good quality and, as expected, super soft!"
  • "These earphones are comfortable to wear even for long periods."
  • "Best thing is that finally I have a good fit for my small ears."
  • "I always need the smallest fit and have never tried memory foam, they fit perfect."
  • "The ear piece is supper comfy and molds to fit my ear and feels very secure."
  • "The memory foam tips make sure they're comfortable to use even for extended times."

Cons:

  • "The only downside I've found is lying down with them in; the magnets stick out of my ears and make lying on my side a little uncomfortable."
  • "The smallest ones were definitely too big for her."
  • "Unfortunately, the metal back of the ear buds is big and heavy and the tips didn't fit well in my daughter's ears."
  • "Another pet peeve is that they can slip off my ears pretty easily, but it may be because of the buds I used."
  • "I don’t find these stay in my ear as good and the fit is just ok."
  • "Memory foam ear pieces were so small I couldn't get them to form to my ears meaningfully and the other sized rubber earpieces seemed low quality and a bit more slippery than I'd like."
  • "The memory foam ear buds are too small and designed for a little girl."

Build Quality and Design

Pros:

  • "Whatever they're made of is very sturdy."
  • "Headphones feel very high quality."
  • "Build quality is surprisingly good too! They feel premium, but that's because of them being made out of aluminum."
  • "The wiring feels more substantial than the Apple brand and these look really nice and well built."
  • "I really enjoyed their solid metal Construction."
  • "The cord is durable, at least coming from someone who has somehow ripped my past earbuds fairly easily by accident."
  • "They are lightweight, the cord feels like a soft braided rubber and doesn't twist too much."

Cons:

  • "The jack should be corned shaped, the right angle ones, still affected but not as much compared to the straight ones."
  • "Also, the wires are not flexible enough and sometimes tickle my chin or neck."
  • "The color options are nice but the lay out and picture of the brown head phones are very deceiving."
  • "I bought 2 pairs and on both of them only one side works and keeps going off this is an absolute joke am not spending money just for them both not to work and I would either have the money back or have new 2 pairs."
  • "In 4 months I have gone through 2 pairs."
  • "There is a buzzing sound all the time on these."
  • "It only took about a week for the audio to go fuzzy when the jack was turned/bent a certain way."

Additional Features

Pros:

  • "The earbuds are also magnetic so it's not as easily tangled."
  • "The non-tangling cord is such an improvement and the magnets help as well!"
  • "The magnets in the earbuds themselves are an interesting touch."
  • "Microphone is crystal clear."
  • "Many others corded earphones suffer from noise coming from the cord in friction with clothing or objects. This cord doesn't transfer such noise coming from friction."
  • "The earbud heads are magnetic, so easy to store and it came with a cute pouch and tin."
  • "The memory foam inserts and both comfortable AND offer excellent noise cancelling."

Cons:

  • "The mic on the other hand wasn't the greatest."
  • "The magnets in the earbuds keep picking up metal shavings."
  • "I don't think it's noise cancelling as I tried this when I had it on loud and turned quite a few heads of those in front of me in the elevator."
  • "You cannot turn the microphone off without holding the button and the volume controls are tough to use."
  • "Even though I've selected 'echo cancellation' in product settings on my laptop, my coworkers report a horrible echo if I do not mute my microphone when in meetings or on calls."
  • "I would’ve liked to have a mute button for the microphone but it’s not a huge deal for me."
  • "Volume control slider is non-functional, it cuts the sound out or cuts out one or the other earbud."

Customer Service and Packaging

Pros:

  • "To my surprise, they answered quickly and offered to give me not one but 2 headphones free of charge due to a faulty product."
  • "They come with TWO carry cases, one soft case and a hard tin."
  • "I love the handwritten note from the supplier."
  • "It came with a tin container (similar to altoid containers, which I would normally re-use anyway -- they're after my own heart) that contains a nice handwritten thank-you note."
  • "The company even sent a handwritten note thanking me for supporting their family business."
  • "Received a handwritten note thanking me for the purchase."
  • "Love the little turquoise baggy it comes with along with the extra silicone earbud covers and the cute hand written thank you note and sticker."
