Gameplay Experience

Pros:

  • "Love this game. We used it on a cross country road trip."
  • "It was perfect !!! My son loved it ! We had so much fun looking for different things !"
  • "This game keeps the kids engaged during those long car trips."
  • "Great collaborative car game that gets the kids into checking-out their surroundings."
  • "It even sparked the kids imagination to make up their own cards!"
  • "You can play it over and over because you never know which cards you'll draw."
  • "These were a big hit on our recent road trip! Lots of variety and unique things to find made it really fun."

Cons:

  • "Ended up being messy in the car. Held kids (6 & 10) attention for 20 min once."
  • "There were very few cards we could play on highway."
  • "Hard to play in the highway though since there aren’t many residential items on the freeway."
  • "A just ok travel game for the car... Could be more engaging and entertaining."
  • "Not as entertaining as I was hoping. Some cars are way too easy, some are impossibly hard."
  • "Eh. Not enough variety, but will work for about four hours of one trip. Maybe two, but the novelty wears off fairly quickly."
  • "the only weird thing is, when you are on a road trip driving through the middle of nowhere... you're probably not going to see a fire hydrant or stoplight."

Game Design and Quality

Pros:

  • "The game itself was made of durable, high-quality paper."
  • "The cards are well made, and provide an illustration for kids that can’t read that well."
  • "Cards are sturdy enough to survive a preschooler handling them."
  • "Very well made cards and larger than normal playing cards."
  • "The cards themselves are good quality and stand up to many uses."
  • "The directions were easy to understand- with great pictures on the cards."
  • "They are great quality and very similar to regular playing cards only larger."

Cons:

  • "Of course, like every card game on the planet, the box ripped the first time I opened it and it's now store in a plastic ziploc bag but that's par for the course, I guess."
  • "The only card we consistently couldn’t do was to find a person with red/orange hair."
  • "the concept of this game is great.... but there are way too few cards with things that can be found on the interstate."
  • "It is best to use it while in town and such because some of the items are not found during parts of the drive while out in the middle of nowhere lol."
  • "Not really geared for highway travel, but might work better for more local roads."
  • "I wish there were more cards for common cross country things."
  • "One drawback of the game is that many of the objects (eg: person walking a dog) may be difficult to find on long highway trips."

Family and Age Inclusiveness

Pros:

  • "Personally used it with Ages 3-adult."
  • "My four year old loves that she can play too! No need to know how to read, the pictures are explain it all."
  • "We all enjoyed playing this game during our last road trip. My 5 years old could play easily."
  • "Even my mom got into the game and made the car ride a blast!"
  • "My pre-readers were able to join in the fun because of the pictures."
  • "Great game for all ages- even easy enough for young kids."
  • "My family absolutely loved this scavenger hunt that we could all participate in while traveling this summer."
