Quality and Durability

Pros:

  • "They are great quality but pricey."
  • "They seal well, wash up nicely and have bright, happy colors."
  • "They’re lightweight, easy for little hands to open, and the larger compartment is big enough for sandwiches to fit inside."
  • "They've held up through many washes in the dishwasher with no visible signs of wear, fading or whitening."
  • "They are sturdier than they look. At first I hesitated b/c I thought these were like the Ziplock disposable containers I already own, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how thick the plastic is."
  • "They're definitely thicker and feel of much higher quality than the name-brand disposable-type plastic storageware."
  • "Sturdy product holds up well in a toddler’s lunchbox."

Cons:

  • "We also had THREE containers crack on us, rendering them unusable."
  • "I purchased a set of these August 2023 and had a broken lid and broken bottom by Christmas."
  • "Our first set was used by two kids for 6+ years. This set, which was purchased at the beginning of this school year, already has more cracks and broken edges than our previous set after a couple years of use."
  • "These started chipping and cracking after a couple weeks."
  • "All of the lids had warped so bad that they wouldn't stay on the containers."
  • "The little tabs on the lid for opening the lunch box break off very easily."
  • "When I pushed slightly on the bottom of the bento box, it cracked through when the plastic broke."

Leak Proof and Sealing

Pros:

  • "The lid snaps on nice and tight so I don't have to worry about my son's food leaking all over the place."
  • "They make a snapping sound when you close them tight so you can be sure that they are already closed tightly."
  • "The lid is snug enough to keep the food in while still being easy for little hands to lift it off."
  • "I would definitely approve the leak proof claim because some of those fresh fruits after rinsing can have some left over water/juices."
  • "They snap together securely and we haven't had any leaking issues at all, even with sauces."
  • "Lids stay secure and the container fits nicely in the work fridge."
  • "The top does not lock on, but snaps in place, and we have never had an issue with them opening inside a soft sided lunch box."

Cons:

  • "These are not leak proof, first of all."
  • "Just as the description states, they are not leak-proof."
  • "They are great, however they are not leak proof and the liquid will spill out of the container onto all the other food items and out of the container itself making a mess."
  • "The compartments are not sufficiently sealed off from one another so you can’t actually use the smaller compartments for cracker or cookies or anything you want to keep crisp because it will siphon moisture from the sandwich and get soggy."
  • "The first couple times I used them with just the tiniest bit of liquid it spilled into the lunch box."
  • "Anytime I gave canned mandarins in one of the containers, inevitably the whole lunch would end up soggy."
  • "Meh, I was so excited that these wouldn't leak, but they totally do."

Price and Value

Pros:

  • "Overall, they work great for the price."
  • "At about $3.50 per container, I feel this is pretty good usage for the price."
  • "They weren't so expensive that I'd be devastated if they accidentally got broken or thrown away."
  • "They're affordable! Other options would have cost me close to $100 for all 3 of my boys, but now (for much, much less) I even have one for my husband."
  • "Price is great for what you get."
  • "They save me money on lunch baggies that's for sure!"
  • "Couldn't be happier for the price."

Cons:

  • "These are nice… not entirely worth the price… you can get something very similar at Walmart, Dollar Tree, any dollar store."
  • "They are great quality but pricey. Idk if I would buy them again because of the price, especially when I can find similar items elsewhere for cheaper."
  • "Maybe it’s due to the dishwasher, but while I live these, I wish they could last a little longer."
  • "It seems like such a waste to produce and sell a product that you expect to break in less than a year."
  • "I would not recommend buying this product unless you plan to use them for less than a year and aren't overly concerned about their environmental impact."
  • "As is, they appear to be overpriced for what you get."
  • "My only real complaint with these is that the lids simply to not stay on."

Customer Service and Support

Pros:

  • "I sheepishly contacted the company owner Kelly Lester regarding my mishap, not expecting anything to come of it - but she sweetly e-mailed me back within just a few hours and sent me a new one!"
  • "UPDATE: customer service reached out to me to replace the containers."
  • "Great product. We've been using for two months now--four days a week, and they go in the dishwasher each night and have shown no signs of wear yet! Also, their customer service is wonderful!"
