Adhesive Quality

Pros:

  • "This was exactly what I was hoping it’d be. The size was perfect and it came with self adhesion tools which were easy to use and worked."
  • "Upon installation, I also found it to be very easy."
  • "Installation is easy, simply remove the plastic covers that hide the screw holes from each corner and attach it to the wall using the included screws and anchors."
  • "It comes with basic mounting tape which holds decently to the wall so long as you're not putting tons of weight on the board."
  • "The adhesive strips are very sturdy."
  • "But holding, it is ever since I bought it months ago."
  • "I’ve used so many different mounting tapes, adhesives, and whatever to mount different things on my door, but just one failure after another. So to say I had little hope in this board holding is the truth."

Cons:

  • "This worked great until the adhesive came undone and the whole whiteboard fell down."
  • "The one corner would not stick so I peeled it off I don’t know why."
  • "The sticky pads are useless but if you use command strips then it works fine."
  • "The adhesive pads do not hold. Fell off wall at office after 5 months."
  • "The wall adhesives the product came with barely lasted 2 months and the white board has fallen down twice now, and won’t stick again."
  • "The adhesive they give you is absolutely useless. They might as well not give you anything."
  • "The mounting adhesives provided by the seller are low quality. They do not provide sufficient grip for the whiteboard to firmly attach to a wall."

Board Quality and Features

Pros:

  • "The board is sturdy and made well. It was accompanied with a dry erase marker/erase with its own clasp to the board and a few push pins."
  • "It is very practical, having two different surfaces, so you can attach notes and photos with pins on one side, and write on or use magnets on the other."
  • "Allows me to take quick notes while posting important reminders such as invitations and bills to pay."
  • "I love the combination of the white board and cork."
  • "The cork takes the push pins well, and the white board handles the writing and erasing well."
  • "The whiteboard part is magnetic. So that was a nice surprise."
  • "Markers writes smoothly and erases easily with a dry cloth, magnets stick well, and pins are easy to push in and/or remove from the cork-board."

Cons:

  • "The board is reasonably sturdy however, here's where it could do with some improvement."
  • "The cork is a bit brittle and you really need to push to get a pin in."
  • "However, due to the metal rails around the board, it's too deep for the command strips to actually make contact with the wall, which is disappointing."
  • "Not providing screw holes for the marker tray on both edges is the only shortcoming I’ve found."
  • "This is a very cheap product."
  • "The 'pen holder' could have been better."
  • "The cork board feels pretty cheap."

Installation and Mounting

Pros:

  • "Each board came with a pack of double sided adhesive foam pads to fix the board easily to a wall surface without the need for hooks/screws etc."
  • "It was easy to install - the pre-drilled holes are even hidden under the corner covers so it looks neat and tidy."
  • "You'll need a Phillips head for a few screws but pretty easy to get together and hung."
  • "Covers for screw heads so the product looks good after installation."
  • "It's a good sized magnetic white board with cork board for less than $20, solid deal!"
  • "The board is made of a sturdy backboard and metal frame, allowing you to hang it up (or in my case command strip it up) without worry of breaking the board."
  • "It is very sturdy and hangs easily on the wall."

Cons:

  • "It was no way to hang up without using double sided tape or the tape it came with after using tape it came with and hanging on the wall it fell it didn't hold up and the tape stuck to my wall pulled the paint off horrible."
  • "The board is ok, but their mounting system is junk."
  • "The whiteboard comes with adhesives to stick to the wall, and there's no other option to use any other kind of mounting system."
  • "The only downside is that the board is not made to be hanged on the wall."
  • "Previous version allowed you to hang it on a pair of screws. This one held in place by a set of 4 small sticky strips. They did not work."
  • "Not a way to hang without adhesion. I wanted to nail it to the wall but not possible."
  • "The 'almost' is because the sticky pads on these are not suitable for these whiteboards."
