Material Quality

Pros:

  • "These are a blend of cotton and something else (polyester?) so they feel great and look great, even after washing and drying."
  • "The fabric is thick but still soft."
  • "The cotton makes it absorbent and the poly makes it relatively wrinkle free."
  • "They feel thick and absorbent and they wash up beautifully."
  • "These fabric napkins are great quality for their thickness and stitching!"
  • "These napkins are very nicely made. Because they are 100% cotton, they are super absorbent."
  • "These napkins are a high quality cotton and are quite large in size."

Cons:

  • "Not what I expected. The color is different - more dark muddy gray than charcoal like the picture."
  • "The fabric material is nothing beautiful at all. It’s really just a cheap cotton material that’s very prone to stains."
  • "I don't care for the material. I should have stuck to cotton."
  • "Material is on the thinner side, not very absorbent at all."
  • "The color of the gray napkin ran when I washed the napkin in a sink with Woolite."
  • "These aren't linen. They certainly aren't 100% brushed flannel cotton. These were 60% polyester."
  • "The description says dark gray linen napkins. These are a cotton polyester blend. NO LINEN IN SIGHT!!"

Color & Appearance

Pros:

  • "These are bright and soft, and could be part of a formal place setting just as easily as our everyday table."
  • "And the color (teal) is perfect. Deep and rich."
  • "The colors were very rich!"
  • "They are thick and very vibrant in color."
  • "These napkins are absolutely beautiful! They are well-made, nice size, easy to care for, absolutely elegant for everyday use or for important events!"
  • "The colors in these are vibrant and perfect for kids or a colorful summery table."
  • "I absolutely love the vibrant colors and feel of these napkins."

Cons:

  • "The color of two packages was not as red as shown online--more like a red-orange."
  • "Unfortunately, this 'red' is almost orange, or at least red-orange and not a true red."
  • "The purple was nothing like the picture."
  • "I bought the “dark gray” but they aren’t gray at all. They look completely blue, almost like a sad, ugly denim."
  • "I ordered these to use as our Christmas napkins thinking that red would work with all my Christmas decor. These are not a true red, they are more of a orange red."
  • "The napkins are fine but not the color as advertised. They're more like a deep blue/black."
  • "The navy, gray, and black all look pretty close to the same and are not pretty or striking like the bold colors."

Wrinkle & Crease Resistance

Pros:

  • "These napkins are great. They wash well and hold their shape after washing and they didn’t get wrinkly."
  • "I bought these for the value. They were washed after use and came out almost wrinkle free!"
  • "These napkins are nicely absorbent, but also come out of the dryer looking nearly pressed, but without that stiff feel. Very nice quality."
  • "These napkins actually improve with age--they've gotten softer with washing but remain stain-resistant and wrinkle-free."
  • "After washing, they are still color fast, no shrinkage, and wrinkle free."
  • "They washed up beautifully. I just presoaked and added a little bleach and they look brand new."
  • "I ran these through the washer when we got them. They washed great. Folded them back the way they were, almost wrinkle free."

Cons:

  • "They don't come out of the wash wrinkly, but they do retain creases - the original creases from their packaging and if they get caught and smooshed in the dryer, they will crease."
  • "I followed the directions and washed before use and they were so wrinkly I had to iron them."
  • "These arrived wrinkle free but once I washed them, they were super wrinkly."
  • "I ordered TWELVE of these to use at Christmas. I washed them up, dried them, and over half were badly wrinkled."
  • "After one wash the straight lines of the napkins are not so straight anymore."
  • "Large hem so wasn't easy to fold and took a lot to iron the fold wrinkles from the packaging."
  • "These cloth napkins are a pretty color and exactly what I wanted to match the tablecloth. But, they were really wrinkled from the package, and I could not put them on the table like that."

Environmental & Practical Use

Pros:

  • "We are trying to reduce waste in our household and have been using these daily instead of paper napkins."
  • "I wanted to stop using up paper napkins by the hundreds, and this was the perfect alternative."
  • "We wanted to stop using so much paper in our home and these have fit the bill for daily-use cloth napkins."
  • "Using cloth napkins is good for the environment and saves the expense of paper napkins—plus makes your dinner feel special."
  • "This is a good way to cut down on paper towel use, one of the minimizing goals I'm working on in daily life."
  • "I purchased these to reduce our paper products consumption. They do the trick and look really nice folded in a basket for my kids to grab instead of paper towels."
  • "Bought these during the great paper shortage of Covid 2020 and found I love them. Great quality, lots of napkins in the pack. Great absorbency too and easy to wash. I've officially switched from paper napkins to these."

Cons:

  • "These will serve the purpose, but I wish the blend had a bit more cotton."
  • "These napkins get the job done. I'm not looking to make art with them or to set a beautiful table."
  • "Unfortunately, stains do not wash out of these napkins."
  • "They aren't great quality; in fact, they are terrible."
  • "These are not absorbent to be used as a cloth napkin. Maybe just personal preference. I feel like I'm wiping my mouth on a satin pillow."
  • "These napkins are definitely poor quality."
  • "I guess that classifies these more as 'disposable' cloth napkins, rather than reusable."
